The recent statements of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, in which he praised Pakistani military commanders, reveal a bitter and shameful reality. This man, whose record in the recent developments of the region and the Middle East is filled with crimes, bloodshed, and support for occupiers, is now engaged in praising those who for years have been killing innocent Afghans in their homes, hospitals, and schools.
This praise is not merely a simple political statement, but rather, it reflects a deep and dangerous alliance between criminal powers and their regional proxies. When Trump, whose record in the Middle East, particularly regarding Palestinians, is associated with bloodshed, extends praise to Pakistani military figures, it raises a fundamental question: What is this praise for? Is it for the killing of defenseless people? Is it for the destabilization of Afghanistan? Or is it for the implementation of the sinister objectives of the United States and Israel in the region?
During his presidency, Trump made clear the core direction of U.S. foreign policy to the world. By moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, he effectively endorsed a position widely seen as disregarding Palestinian rights. By recognizing the Golan Heights as part of Israel, he further deepened regional tensions. Through the signing of the Abraham Accords, he set Muslims against one another at the point of the sword. His administration also maintained a hardline stance against Iran, contributing to heightened geopolitical tensions. In the context of Gaza, critics argue that his response to the situation reflected strong support for Israel while failing to adequately address the humanitarian impact on Palestinians.
It is this very Trump who today describes the commanders of the Pakistani military as possessors of “extraordinary merit.” One must ask: what extraordinary merit? Does it consist of the bombing of Kabul’s Omid Hospital and the martyrdom of four hundred innocent patients? Does it refer to the relentless rain of bullets and missiles upon the homes of Kunar, drenching women and children in their own blood? Or perhaps it is the calculated support for groups like ISIS to ensure the perpetual destabilization of Afghanistan? Such shameful praise reveals a grim reality: that Trump and his associates define crimes against humanity as “extraordinary achievements.”
There exists a clear and undeniable nexus between Trump’s adulation of Pakistan and his controversial maneuvers in the Middle East. Trump and his Zionist supporters require a mercenary army in South Asia to advance their objectives through proxy warfare. Just as Israel, bolstered by American support, massacres the Palestinian people, Pakistan targets the people of Afghanistan with the backing of those same global powers.
This is a coordinated game: one front in Western Asia (Palestine) and another in Central Asia (Afghanistan). On both fronts, the victims are innocent Muslims, and the executioners are puppets whose strings are pulled by others. Trump praises the Pakistani commanders because they loyally perform the role of “America’s foot soldiers.” In the Middle East, they act as “deceptive mediators” to advance Israeli interests, while in Afghanistan, they fulfill the role of “executioner” to ensure their eastern neighbor remains submerged in insecurity and chaos.
For years, the Pakistani military regime has been recognized as a mercenary force for the United States and Israel within the region. While this regime speaks of peace and ceasefires in the Middle East, it simultaneously tramples upon every principle of warfare and human value along Afghanistan’s eastern borders. Just as Trump and Israel bombard hospitals in Palestine, Pakistan has targeted the Omid Hospital for drug addicts in Kabul. In the same vein that the Zionist regime demolishes schools and homes in Gaza, Pakistan has struck schools and residential dwellings in Afghanistan’s Kunar, Paktia, and Khost provinces with mortar fire and aerial bombardments.
These coordinated crimes are not coincidental; rather, they are part of a pre-established blueprint, a map in which great powers utilize proxy regimes to spill Muslim blood and keep them mired in poverty, insecurity, and backwardness.
The rationale behind Trump’s praise of Pakistan’s criminal officials is not confined merely to short-term political gains. Trump understands that Pakistan plays a pivotal and key role in America’s regional maneuvers, ranging from securing U.S. logistical routes out of Afghanistan to collaborating with intelligence agency networks (CIA and Mossad).
By offering this praise, Trump is effectively giving Pakistan a green light to persist in its actions, as these deeds align with America’s strategic interests. Through his remarks, he implicitly conveys the message that the life of an Afghan or a Palestinian holds no value to him; what matters is only that which guarantees the interests of the great powers and their allies.
This shameful policy not only fails to resolve regional crises but further fuels and expands the fires of hatred and violence. The people of Afghanistan are well aware that Pakistan does not act in isolation; behind its actions stands the unwavering support of the United States and Israel. Trump’s commendation of Pakistani commanders serves as a blatant and potent testament to this reality.
In truth, this praise is an endorsement of the massacre of the infirm; it is a validation of the bombardment of homes in Kunar; it is an approval of the support provided to groups like ISIS within Afghanistan; and it is a formal sanctioning of every crime the Pakistani regime has perpetrated against the oppressed people of Afghanistan.
In conclusion, it must be stated that the nations of the region, particularly the peoples of Afghanistan and Palestine, recognize this sinister game for what it truly is. They understand that for Trump and those of his ilk, there is no distinction between the atrocities committed in Gaza and those in Kabul. In their eyes, the blood of all Muslims is identical and of no account.
However, history shall never consign these crimes to oblivion. A day will surely come when the executioners and their patrons are summoned to account before Allah Almighty and the tribunal of history. As Allah declares in the Glorious Qur’an:
«وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ»
“And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do.” This divine promise stands as the ultimate solace for the oppressed and serves as the gravest warning to criminals such as Trump and the Pakistani mercenary regime, who have chosen the path of tyranny and bloodshed.
