Iraq, a land that, following the U.S. invasion, witnessed the emergence of numerous jihadist movements. These fighters inflicted severe blows upon American forces in the region. However, this sacred soil later became the breeding ground for the Fitnah of the Daesh-e-Khawarij. Through their treacherous schemes, they obliterated the achievements of the mujahideen and plunged Iraq’s oppressed nation into despair.
In 2014, the poisonous calls for the establishment of the ISIS “caliphate” echoed across the globe. This self-proclaimed caliphate portrayed itself as the protector of the Islamic Ummah and the remedy for its wounds. However, it did not take long for the Ummah to realize that this “caliphate” not only failed to provide any relief but also inflicted far greater pain and suffering than any other calamity.
During the initial years of their illegitimate caliphate, the ISIS Khawarij successfully captured vast territories in Iraq and Syria, consolidating their control. Their influence, however, was not confined to these two nations. Egypt, Libya, various African nations, and even Afghanistan succumbed to this menace. Some regions were annexed and proclaimed as new provinces of their illegitimate caliphate, spreading their harmful ideology extensively.
The authority and supremacy of the ISIS Khawarij were short-lived. As their true nature was unmasked to the public, the Islamic Ummah recognized the truth about this deviant group. It became apparent that the Khawarij were not liberators but purveyors of immense suffering. Consequently, the ISIS Khawarij lost most of the territories they once held, and their power started dwindling.
Unlike other nations, Afghanistan did not witness a decline in the power of ISIS Khawarij. Rather, under the presence of American forces and the puppet administration in Kabul, the group gained strength day by day. The occupiers employed the ISIS Khawarij as a shield to counter the IEA’s mujahideen, believing that the mujahideen would be crushed under the weight of this new threat.
However, this assumption turned out to be nothing more than a delusion. Not only did the ISIS Khawarij fail to impede the progress of the Islamic Emirate’s mujahideen, but they were ultimately vanquished by the valiant mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA). The Khawarij lost their final strongholds permanently, signifying the end of their reign of terror in Afghanistan.
Following the defeat of the occupying forces and the collapse of their puppet administration, the remnants of this despised group were also eliminated. The oppressed people of Afghanistan were ultimately liberated from the scourge of this fitnah, and the dark chapter of the ISIS Khawarij reached its conclusion.
