Look at the past centuries. The situation was no different when the Crusaders and Jews conspired against the Islamic caliphates and emirates. From among the Muslims themselves, infiltrating figures would rise up, they would begin their alliance with the Jews and infidels, and the infidels would promise them wealth and rank in exchange for victory. Faith-sellers, or people who appeared outwardly like Muslims, would rise up and launch rebellion and war against the Islamic caliphates, emirates, and states.
History exposes the intent and purpose of such hypocritical and faith-selling people. Driven by foreign conspiracies, their goal was to create trouble for Muslims and their sharia systems. They wanted to please their infidel masters and distract the Muslims with internal fighting instead of facing the external enemy. Their rebellion served only their personal greed and the defense of disbelief.
The leaders of these rebellions always sit comfortably in the palaces of the infidels and the cities of disbelief. Meanwhile, the ordinary people they deceive with lies are left to burn in the conflict. History proves that such treachery never succeeds. Instead, the rebels destroy themselves in ways their masters never anticipated. When the Sudanese rebelled against Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi (rh) at the signal of the cross, history records how that rebellion ended, they were broken, destroyed, and abandoned in the deserts.
The very first rebellion of the Khawarij against Ali (ra) also ended in their total uprooting. Therefore, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) warns today’s rebels and those dancing to foreign tunes: remember this history. Whoever seeks personal gain and serves disbelief under the name of Islam will end up with no roots and no foundation.
In crushing these rebellions, the IEA follows the path and the fatwa of its righteous predecessors and legitimate Islamic rulers. Rebels will always reap the bloody consequences of their own actions. Today, Afghans enjoy unprecedented security and freedom, blessings bought with pure sacrifice and struggle. How, then, can destructive circles and fronts today be given any opportunity or room to organize themselves and carry out activities?
It is the duty of the IEA, and any legitimate Islamic government, to uproot those who threaten public safety and order. Defending people is a sacred trust. If defending the people at the right time requires action beyond the borders, that action will be taken. Today, every circle that uses propaganda, threats, and the repetition of the recklessness of the past against the IEA is closer to the edge of the precipice than ever before.
Be assured and confident. Just as we cleansed Afghanistan, this land of the ghazis, of them before, these filthy elements will never be allowed to step foot on this sacred land of the Ghazis again.
