Continuing this series on the characteristics of the Jews, in this section we will examine another of their distinct traits.
3. Expansionism and Ambition for More
The third disease and affliction with which the Jews have been stricken, and which has taken deep root in their nature, is an enduring and insatiable drive for expansion that has remained alive in their thinking. Allah Almighty states in the Holy Qur’an:
{وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَاةٍ}
(Surah al-Baqarah, 2:96)
“And you will surely find them (the Jews) the most greedy of people for life…”
This verse reflects their worldliness, greedy nature, and limitless desire, qualities that form the foundation of their expansionist ambition.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyya, may Allah have mercy on him, is also quoted as saying:
“The Jews are among the nations most eager for domination. No authority of theirs has ever been established except upon the blood and ruins of nations.”
(Majmu’ al-Fatawa, vol. 28, p. 540)
Israel and the Jews do not confine themselves to the lands they have already usurped; they are constantly seeking further expansion. Israel is like Hell: when asked if it is full, it replies, “Is there any more?”
The Zionist regime upholds the concept of a “Greater Israel,” which is considered to extend from the Nile River to the Euphrates, with additional claims sometimes associated with it. Some Jews believe that their state stretches from the Nile (in Egypt) to the Euphrates (in Iraq), and from the cedar tree (in Lebanon) to the date palm (in Medina, Saudi Arabia).
Israel Shahak, a professor at Tel Aviv University, writes in his English-language book that the state they seek to establish will encompass large portions of Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait, and Egypt.
In reality, their ultimate objective is global dominance. However, due to political considerations, this aim is pursued gradually and is not openly declared.
When a journalist once asked former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir about the extent of Israel’s borders, she reportedly replied, “When we reach the real borders of Israel, then we will inform you.”
Similarly, David Ben-Gurion stated in his remarks that their state hopes southern Lebanon, southern Syria, and the Sinai Peninsula will become part of Israel. For this reason, the Oslo Accords did not include any explicit statement regarding Israel’s final borders.
Taken together, all this evidence demonstrates that the Jews possess an ominous trait of expansionism. Far from being satisfied with the lands they have already usurped, they continually strive to extend their power and bring Islamic regions under their control.
Finally, to realize these evil goals of the Jews, the Western countries, especially the United States, have consistently supported these objectives through military assistance, advanced weaponry, and the use of veto power in the United Nations Security Council.
