Over the past half-century, foreign prescriptions have always been used for Afghanistan’s stability, state-building, and so-called nation-building. Imposed systems were brought upon the country under one name or another, and the results were always negative. But in this whole span of time we’ve only had two periods of rule, two systems, that had deep Afghan roots and stood on the people’s own support rather than foreign backing, and that’s the Islamic Emirate’s first period and its second, or current, one.
The security, reconstruction, and national strength of both these periods still remains, to this day, a matter of pride and memory for the people. With the IEA’s return to power, not only was the twenty-year black flag of occupation folded away, but the occupation’s internal puppets and those who lived off the wealth and privileges of a particular region and province also fell from power and lost their influence. Over the past twenty years these people had taken unmatched privileges from the Republic under the name of mujahid, resistance fighter, and freedom fighter, but their benefit stayed locked within one family and one tribal line, never reaching their own people or their province in any real way, something every Afghan today is a witness to.
To keep this same extortion going, to keep sending other people’s children off to fight for their own interests and their foreign masters’ interests and wicked goals, the way they did before, they’ve launched wide propaganda campaigns under various names. This malicious propaganda includes biased media outlets, former spokesmen, and people who took privileges purely under the name of mujahid, people who, during their own time in power, never put even one percent of these same slogans into practice, and who instead left behind clear records of administrative and moral corruption, land grabbing, killings, kidnappings, and drug trafficking.
Right now, outside the country, in the virtual world, plenty of these fronts are active, trying, with the backing of the region’s and the occupying countries’ own disgraced intelligence circles, to pull other people’s children, especially emotional young people, to their side, luring them with all sorts of hopes and promises.
The so-called Freedom, Resistance, Mobilization Front, Sipahiyan-e Mihan, and other fronts, councils, and political alliances, headed by names like Ahmad Massoud, Sami Sadat, Dr. Zia, Ustad Sayyaf, and other fled Republic officials, are all limited to nothing but a name. On top of that, even the people putting these names forward are facing serious disunity and weakness among themselves. Only the dollar serum from their foreign backers keeps them somewhat alive in front of media cameras here and there, their whole activity confined to statements and conferences.
Fortunately, the Afghan mujahid and Muslim people have understood this virtual activity and this so-called intelligence activity of theirs, and know it well for what it is, because against it, the IEA’s moral legitimacy keeps showing itself, day after day, not through propaganda but through action, and even Afghanistan’s enemies admit that the current process of governance and reconstruction has no equal in half a century.
Another important point is that these kinds of groups, officials, and their followers have completely lost people’s trust, and right now inside Afghanistan they don’t have even a hand’s span of room left for wrongdoing, sabotage, or holding the people hostage. When someone has no room and no trust left in a country for evil and corruption, when the people hold nothing but hatred and revulsion for them, their propaganda and their slogans end up doing the opposite of what they intend, exposing their own disgraced faces and wicked aims instead.
The conduct of these same groups, fronts, and pampered Republic figures, even during their own time in power, was never hidden from anyone. They have a long history in Kabul and other cities of inhuman acts, atrocities, theft, and extortion. They took privileges from their own government and leaders, and at the same time went after their own system and institutions in the name of opposition, civil activist, or journalist, sometimes friend, sometimes opponent, running governments within the government, spreading terror, so that people’s honor, dignity, property, and businesses were never safe from them, and because of their wrongdoing, many Afghans were driven into internal displacement and even forced abroad as refugees.
Because these front-runners have put their whole focus on media and statements, in response it isn’t the IEA’s own media or spokesmen who answer them, but ordinary people and media activists themselves, voluntarily, out of their own sense of faith-based and Afghan duty, and this trust grows stronger and more popular with each passing day, until eventually even the world and the biased foreign intelligence circles will have to bow their heads to this same national trust and support.
