On the evening of the previous day, a successful operation was executed against an ISKP hideout in PD15 of Kabul city, resulting in the elimination of two militants and the seizure of a significant cache of explosive materials.
Credible sources confirmed to Al-Mirsaad that the operation, conducted on the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah (19th of Jawza) in the Qasaba area of PD15, targeted a facility where IS-K militants were manufacturing landmines and suicide vests.
According to the sources, the operation resulted in the killing of two ISKP members. In addition to the confiscation of weapons and a Toyota Corolla vehicle, security forces seized a substantial quantity of explosives, suicide vests, detonators, remote-control devices, and other bomb-making equipment.
The sources further disclosed that the group had been producing these explosive devices at this facility for use in subversive activities and transporting them to other locations for planned attacks.
