The media outlet Az-Zallaqa, affiliated with Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM), reported on the 28th of Sha’ban that last Monday (the 25th of Sha’ban), Mujahideen attacked a group of ISIS fighters in the Markoye area of the Oudalan province, resulting in the deaths of four ISIS members.
The statement mentioned that a PK machine gun, two Kalashnikov rifles, and two motorcycles were also captured from the slain ISIS fighters.
Previously, al-Qaeda had also clashed with ISIS in the Oudalan province, eliminating a significant number of their members.
