Illustrious Personalities of the Ummah
The profound and fierce waves of revolution shook the nation to its core, testing the resolve of its youth in the ultimate trial. Each individual strove to present themselves before Allah, the Almighty, ahead of others. Yet, this was no simple endeavor—it was a journey fraught with hardships, trials, and unwavering faith.
The relentless attacks of the Mujahideen brought the enemy to its knees, though victory remained on the horizon. Some, immersed in the ocean of divine love, departed for the marble and blissful palaces of Paradise, where their nights were spent dreaming beneath the fruit-laden trees of Jannat al-Na’im, resting on marble carpets.
Among such valiant heroes was Martyr Tawhidullah Suleiman (Mansoori) – may Allah accept him. His strikes were akin to the sword of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), cutting through the ranks of the enemy with resolute determination.
Early Life and Dedication
Born in 1374 AH in the village of Kachur Shamti, Laghman province, Martyr Suleiman was the son of Commander Abdul Ghafoor Zindani. From his earliest days, he was destined for a life of sacrifice and devotion, embodying unwavering faith and commitment to the path of righteousness.
A nominee for martyrdom, Martyr Suleiman Mansoori (may Allah accept him) stood among the valiant warriors who walked the path of truth alongside self-sacrificing Mujahideen. He eagerly awaited his moment of triumph, counting the seconds, hours, and years. Yet, the fulfillment of his heartfelt aspirations remained just beyond reach.
Unwavering Commitment to Jihad
Martyr Suleiman longed for the day when the cries of oppressed mothers and imprisoned youth would be answered, and the path paved by the blood of his comrades would be preserved. Indeed, he and his fellow warriors remained steadfast to their pledges, and their sacrifices, struggles, and tireless efforts were accepted in the court of the Lord of the Worlds.
The nation was imbued with the fragrance of victory, the youth breathed a sigh of relief, and the Mujahideen attributed this triumph to the grace of Allah, the Almighty.
Martyr Suleiman Mansoori (may Allah accept him) never sought retreat from the battlefield. He dedicated every moment of his life to the establishment and preservation of the Islamic system. This brave and courageous soldier spent his days in preparation centers, demonstrating unwavering loyalty and leadership. Time and again, Allah delivered him from the harsh attacks, intense battles, and relentless bombings of the occupiers.
The Pursuit of Martyrdom
With hands perpetually raised in supplication, he pleaded for martyrdom before his Lord. His prayers became so beloved to Allah that He kept him waiting for years. During this period of anticipation, Martyr Suleiman ventured into the rugged mountains of Kunar, seeking martyrdom and combating the deviant Daesh-e-Khawarij.
His mission was clear:
– To seek the pleasure of Allah,
– To free the Muslim Ummah from the evils of ISIS,
– To uphold his covenant with the Pure and Holy One, believing that his sacrifice on this sacred path would secure eternal bliss.
The Creator of the universe granted both of his heart’s desires: the threat of ISIS was eradicated, and divine Islamic law was established on Earth. Martyr Suleiman Mansoori (may Allah accept him) neutralized numerous ISIS militants in the mountains of Kunar.
After years of struggle, jihad, and migration, he returned to Laghman with remarkable success, though still under the persistent surveillance of enemy spy drones and reconnaissance agents.
Final Battle and Martyrdom
On the 18th of Ramadan al-Mubarak, 1399/2/22, in the Konjaki area of Alishang district, Laghman province, Martyr Suleiman engaged in direct combat against a formidable enemy force. In this decisive battle, 24 enemy tanks and nearly 100 high- and low-ranking soldiers and generals were destroyed by the Mujahideen’s rockets and heavy artillery.
In the final moments of victory, during an American drone strike, the heroic Mujahid, Martyr Amir Suleiman Mansoori (may Allah accept him), along with his two loyal companions, attained the lofty status of martyrdom.
