The Pakistani army and government have been at war with their own nation for seventy years now, and the main cause of this war is the continuation of unjust governance in Pakistan. Looking at Pakistan’s strategic location, its factories, and its production capacity, this country should have been economically strong. It extracted all the minerals of Balochistan, Sindh, and Pakhtunkhwa, yet the military regime sinks deeper into debt day by day.
The reason isn’t that money doesn’t come into Pakistan. The real reason is that a mafia is ruling there. Money comes in from one side, falls into the hands of the mafia, and goes back out from the other side, leaving nothing for the people. This is the reality inside the military regime.
If, in such a situation, the ordinary people of Pakistan were to realize that a mafia circle is ruling over them, they might all rise up in rebellion. To prevent a national uprising from taking shape in Pakistan, the ruling mafia circle tries to keep the nation occupied with some foreign issue so that they don’t turn their attention to internal problems. That is why, every time talks between Afghanistan and Pakistan heat up, the mafia circle launches attacks on Afghanistan so that war breaks out and the talks are sabotaged.
War with Afghanistan brings heavy losses to both nations, but it brings great benefits to the mafia, some of which we mention below:
1. If the war continues, the oppression, tyranny, and corruption of the mafia stay hidden in the smoke of war.
2. If the war continues, the mafia’s business, carried out in the name of fighting terrorism, will keep running.
3. If the war continues, the people and tribes of the border regions stay occupied with fighting, leaving the mafia free to plunder their minerals.
4. If the war continues, the mafia ruling the military regime can hide its theft far more easily under the name of war expenses.
There are these and many other benefits like them that the mafia gains from war, which we won’t go into in detail, but the ones drowned by it, on both sides, are the ordinary people, the poor and helpless people. The people of both countries, Muslims, should understand that Pakistan’s recent acts of aggression are neither in the interest of its own ordinary people nor carried out at their request. Rather, these are the plans of the ruling mafia, being carried out, and it is they who reap the benefit.
