Al-Mirsaad extends its deepest congratulations to the entire Muslim Ummah, to jihadi movements, intellectual currents, scholars, and leading thinkers, and to the brave and dignified peoples of Afghanistan and Gaza, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
The arrival of Eid al-Adha is, at its core, a season of remembrance. It calls to mind one of the most extraordinary acts of sacrifice in human history: the moment when Ibrahim (AS) and his young son Ismail (AS) stood at the height of devotion and the summit of submission to Allah Almighty. Eid is not simply the observance of a religious tradition. It is a timeless and universal symbol of selflessness, devotion, and surrender to the will of the Creator.
These blessed days represent an intellectual and spiritual awakening for the Muslim Ummah. The essential philosophy of the Abrahamic tradition is that a Muslim must be willing to set aside every material desire and personal want in the pursuit of truth and the defense of the oppressed. It is a spirit of compassion, brotherhood, and solidarity that strengthens the bonds of love among the members of this Ummah.
Sadly, this year the Ummah marks this great occasion while its true and living meaning is being written in blood, in Gaza and in other corners of the world where people live under occupation and oppression. Gaza, a piece of the heart of the Islamic world, has become the great testing ground of humanity’s conscience. There, mothers, children, and the elderly offer their lives every day in defense of their faith and their land.
A clear-eyed reading of the current political moment reveals coordinated and calculating hands working behind the scenes, hands that seek to turn the joy of Muslims into grief. This intelligence network, assembled from the Zionist regime, the ISIS fitna, and certain corrupt military regimes in the region, is nothing more than different faces of the same coin.
Yet amid all these global and regional conspiracies, the victory of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) on the pure soil of Afghanistan and the resistance of its brave forces stand as a beacon of hope for the entire Ummah. Our courageous mujahideen, inspired by the spirit of Ibrahim, not only broke the arrogance of global imperialism and occupation. With their own blood, they also buried the ISIS fitna and crushed the proxy schemes of hostile neighboring regimes.
By the blessing of these unmatched sacrifices, a comprehensive and lasting security has taken hold across the country, the kind of security the Afghan people had been thirsting for across decades. Today, from every corner of this land, the sound rising is not of gunpowder but of brotherhood and progress.
The message of Eid al-Adha is this: as long as the Abrahamic spirit of sacrifice, unity, and resistance remains alive in the body of this Ummah, no intelligence conspiracy will ever be able to bring it down.
We pray to Allah Almighty to strengthen the defensive ranks and fortresses of the Islamic order, to make the security of our homeland lasting, and to grant complete liberation and victory to all oppressed Muslims across the world, including the heroic people of Gaza, from the grip of unjust and corrupt regimes.
Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum salih al-a’mal. May Allah accept our good deeds and yours.
