Al-Mirsaad reported last Sunday (25 Jumada al-Awwal / 16 November) that Burhan, an ISKP commander known as Zaid within ISIS ranks, was killed in Kasur district, Punjab, Pakistan, by unidentified armed assailants.
According to fresh information provided to Al-Mirsaad by security sources, Burhan had been using Pakistani territory to plan and coordinate destructive operations in the region. He maintained close ties not only with Abu Bakr and Qari Fateh but also with Pakistani ISIS commander Umar Bajouri, who was killed alongside another ISIS member during follow-up operations by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s security forces in Shurik Dara, Manogai district, Kunar province, on 20 October 2024.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan’s military regime had claimed that Burhan had no connection with ISIS in an attempt to cover up the presence of ISIS in Pakistan, particularly in Punjab. However, to expose the lies of Pakistan’s military regime, Al-Mirsaad is publishing a joint image of Umar Bajouri and Burhan, obtained from security sources, to provide readers with verified evidence.
