In the noble religion of Islam, Allah Almighty has clearly and explicitly established principles and rules for humanity.
Islam does not permit anyone to respond to criminals with such excessive measures that they themselves commit crimes in the process.
In Islam, the act of burning a human body is unequivocally prohibited and considered sinful under all circumstances. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) strongly forbade such practices in his teachings, as it constitutes a grave violation of human dignity and an extreme insult.
However, due to their extremism, ISIS has blatantly violated all these laws and regulations. On numerous occasions, they have executed individuals by burning them alive for opposing their ideology or being captured in battles against them. Following are some examples:
1. Burning of Jordanian Pilot Muath al-Kasasbeh:
In 2015, ISIS captured a Jordanian pilot, Muath al-Kasasbeh, during a battle. Later, they released a video showing him confined in a metal cage and burned alive.
2. Burning Opponents in Raqqa, Syria:
In 2014 and 2015, ISIS burned several prisoners alive in the city of Raqqa, Syria. These individuals were either opponents of ISIS or had ties to the Syrian government. ISIS subjected them to this punishment as a form of retribution against their adversaries.
3. Burning Yazidis in Sinjar:
In 2014, during their attack on the Sinjar region, ISIS committed atrocities against the Yazidi community in blatant violation of Islamic principles. Some Yazidis were burned alive, and reports indicate that Yazidi women and children were also among the victims of such acts.
4. Burning People in ISIS-Controlled Areas of Syria:
In areas under their control in Syria, ISIS burned alive those who opposed their principles or were deemed adversaries. They referred to such individuals as “traitors” and “apostates,” justifying their acts under the guise of enforcing their so-called justice. Videos of these barbaric acts were publicly shared by ISIS.
Conclusion:
These savage acts, which ISIS attempts to justify as part of their “jihad,” are entirely contradictory to Islamic teachings and principles of humanity.
