Among the greatest blessings that Allah Almighty bestows upon nations is the blessing of security and peace. Allah Almighty reminds us of this tremendous favor in Surah al-Fil and draws the attention of the polytheists to it, teaching that even if they do not believe because of His many other blessings, they should at least be grateful for the security that He has granted them. It is that security through which their trading caravans remained engaged in commerce during both the winter and summer seasons in an atmosphere of confidence and safety. Therefore, in gratitude for this immense blessing, they were commanded to worship Allah Almighty.
Indeed, today the blessing of peace, security, and a comfortable life under the shade of the Islamic system is counted among the greatest and most valuable favors that Allah Almighty has bestowed upon the Afghan nation.
The people of Afghanistan have fully realized that the only system capable of bringing security, peace, and tranquility, while eliminating oppression, injustice, theft, immorality, and other social evils, is this Islamic and Qur’anic system. The Islamic system is the sole choice of the Muslim nation and the Mujahid Afghan people, and they stand alongside their Mujahideen for the preservation and continuity of this very system. For this nation has sacrificed its lives and wealth for the establishment of the Islamic system, and it has never accepted, nor will it ever accept, the worn-out systems devised by human beings.
During the blessed days of Eid, from north to south and from east to west, the Afghan people spent the days of Eid al-Adha in complete tranquility and assured security. No security incident or similar problem occurred in any part of Afghanistan, and the atmosphere of brotherhood, unity, and solidarity among the people was felt more strongly than ever before.
Although the sworn enemies of Islam continually strive to weaken and eliminate our Islamic system by employing every possible trick, conspiracy, and plot, and seek to disrupt the Islamic government and the security of the country through proxy groups and groups that merely appear Muslim, so that they may achieve their malicious objectives, they have been mistaken in this hope and will never be able to give practical form to their unlawful ambitions.
The Afghan people should have complete confidence that their honor, dignity, and reputation are secure, and that the self-sacrificing Mujahideen of the Islamic system will continue, with all their strength, to defend the Islamic system and the Muslim nation of Afghanistan. They will never allow the Kharijites and insurgents to disrupt the country’s security or inflict harm upon the Islamic system.
