In 2021, when the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) compelled the crusader occupation coalition to withdraw from Afghanistan and Kabul was conquered, ISIS Khawarij announced their intention to continue their war against the triumphant mujahideen. They actively intensified their efforts to escalate the hostilities against the newly established Islamic regime in Afghanistan.
Recently, following the successful overthrow of the brutal regime of Bashar al-Assad and the capture of Damascus by Syrian jihadi groups, ISIS Khawarij has once again threatened to persist in their conflict against the victorious jihadi factions under the guise of jihad.
In the editorial of its latest issue, the official ISIS weekly Al-Naba stated that while Bashar’s regime in Syria has fallen, they will still continue their fight until the victory of their group and ideology. Following the conquest of Damascus, it was expected that ISIS Khawarij would certainly take action to assert themselves and weaken jihadi groups, which the recent threats from Al-Naba confirm.
Sparing disbelievers and killing Muslims has always been the hallmark of the Khawarij. The ISIS Khawarij, through their statements and actions, continue to clearly demonstrate this trait to the people.
