Very often, some analysts and inexperienced political commentators raise the question of why Afghanistan is not as developed and prosperous as its neighboring and regional countries. They then give the reason that civil wars and divisions caused Afghanistan to fall behind the caravan of development and reconstruction.
It is true that civil wars and divisions might be one reason. But there is another question that needs to be asked here too: at what cost did those regional countries build themselves up? If we limit the discussion to the neighboring countries, particularly our northern neighbors, Russia played a major role in their development and present progress. Yet the ruling systems in these so-called Islamic countries not only fail to represent Islam in any way, they do not even represent their own people. To this day, foreign powers still pull the strings on their domestic and foreign policies.
If anyone thinks Afghanistan should also have remained silent in the face of the British, the Russians, and the Americans just to gain the position some countries have today, then their calculation is completely wrong. Afghanistan had only one goal throughout all these struggles and jihads, and that was the establishment of an Islamic system. The establishment of a pure Islamic system and the implementation of Sharia were and remain a historic, fundamental demand of the Afghan people. Alhamdulillah, with the rise of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), that spiritual demand is finally a reality.
Western and man-made laws have been thrown out, replaced by pure Sharia rule. This was one of the people’s core historic demands. With this demand firmly established, Afghanistan’s honor and standing have been protected, and it now speaks to its rivals on equal terms.
Those who gained privileges during the past period in the name of the mujahid and jihad, and who under the Republic raised slogans about implementing Sharia, have now turned to new forms of hypocrisy. They are beating the drums of rebellion against this system and, with the advice and support of foreign intelligence agencies, especially hostile neighbors, they want to create problems and challenges for the current Islamic system. Once again, they want to use the children of others behind sacred slogans for their own personal and intelligence objectives. But this dream of theirs will never be fulfilled. There are two major, strong reasons why it will not succeed.
The most important reason is that Afghans have woken up. They know black from white. They know who actually loves Islam and who trades on Islamic values. That is why the empty slogans of these rebels and insurgents cannot mislead them anymore.
The second reason is that the IEA is not merely a political authority that understands religion. It is also a military force. This force is well-equipped at the regional level, and so far it has handed down severe punishments to those who have rebelled against Islam and the system. For such rebels, there is a clear Sharia ruling. By suppressing and eliminating these insurgents, the Islamic forces continue the jihad and carry out the sacred mission of saving their country and people.
The rebels and those beating the drums of rebellion must understand that they are not walking in the path of Allah Almighty, nor can they claim to represent the demands of the people. They are only deceiving themselves and making themselves deserving of the anger and wrath of the IEA’s mujahid forces. These forces have clear authorization from their Amir and Islamic Sharia, and they will protect today’s security and eliminate rebellions even at the cost of their own lives and martyrdom.
The sensible advice to them is that they should neither deceive themselves nor remain far removed from reality, as they always have. This suffering nation needs service and peace now. Its desire for the establishment of Islamic Sharia has already been fulfilled. The second stage of this desire is to protect the land and the country, develop it, and make it honorable.
Naturally, those who stand against fulfilling this desire have no place in the country or among its people anymore. They will always remain disgraced and humiliated.
