After the failure of the American occupation in Afghanistan, Washington has in recent years been striving to maintain its influence in the Middle East. However, since its military presence did not produce the desired outcomes, the United States of America (USA) now appears to be shifting its approach, seeking to strengthen its political and intelligence influence in place of direct military engagement.
Within this framework, a new strategic project has reportedly been set in motion to destabilize the region. According to the plan, the implementation of this project has been entrusted to a particular circle within Pakistan’s military regime.
Pakistan’s unlawful incursions and attacks on Afghanistan are not driven by the issue of the TTP. The TTP operates within its own territory and pursues its legitimate rights. Rather, these unlawful assaults appear to be part of a new mission linked to the United States, which has been entrusted to a particular circle within Pakistan’s military regime.
The objective is to destabilize the region and achieve goals that Washington was unable to accomplish during its period of direct military involvement. It now seeks to pursue these aims through intelligence operations and indirect support provided by this circle.
In this context, since the launch of the mission, Pakistan’s military regime chief, Asim Munir, has traveled to the United States around three times to meet with and consult President Donald Trump. Similarly, Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, has also visited the U.S. several times to express his appreciation to Trump and to pledge his commitment to the execution of the project.
According to some sources within the Pakistani media, Pakistan initiated its unlawful attacks on Afghanistan at a time when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army chief Asim Munir were following Trump’s directives in the United States, and Trump was praising the Pakistani military for effectively carrying out their mission and making excellent progress.
As a result of malicious decisions and aggressive actions by this particular circle, severe clashes have erupted on both sides. At the same time, Afghanistan’s Islamic forces continue to advance toward their noble goal while defending their legitimate rights, whereas this specific circle within Pakistan’s military regime pursues the U.S.-led mission, sacrificing its own people to serve American interests.
Reports have also been received that during the most recent visit of U.S. and Israeli intelligence delegations to Islamabad, Asim Munir assured them that he would assist in U.S.-Israeli operations against Iran, and if necessary, the Pakistani military would grant access to its maritime territory and key airbases to the United States and Israel.
