Despite differences in structure and outward form, the Zionist regime and the modern-day Khawarij (ISIS) share common ground in numerous areas. They may act independently, but their trajectories consistently intersect. This article highlights several key dimensions of their shared hostility toward Islam and the Muslim Ummah.
1. Assault on the True Image of Islam
ISIS, through its extreme violence, takfir, and inhumane conduct, has projected a grotesque and false image of Islam to the global public. This image—rooted in distortion and brutality—conveniently supports the long-standing agenda of the Zionist regime and its Western allies, who have invested heavily in portraying Islam as a religion of violence and terror.
By amplifying a false representation of Islam, the Zionist regime aims to condition the global community to view Islamic movements as existential threats. In this effort, ISIS has become a useful instrument—whether knowingly or unknowingly—by reinforcing the Islamophobic narratives spread by Zionist and Western propaganda machines.

Under the pretense of establishing a so-called caliphate, the group took active measures to dismantle the central governments of Iraq and Syria, deepening sectarian strife and accelerating the disintegration of cohesive Islamic societies. The practical effects of ISIS’s actions have, in many respects, mirrored those of the Zionist regime.

A closer examination of the actions of ISIS and the Zionist regime reveals undeniable similarities in methodology and outcomes:
