Unidentified gunmen assassinated a senior ISIS-K operative, Nusrat, the son of Amir Muhammad and known by his aliases Pahlawan Musa and Abu Zar, in the Pakistani city of Peshawar.
Nusrat Pahlawan was regarded as one of the key figures within ISIS-K. He was involved in planning several attacks in Kabul and surrounding provinces during 2022 and 2023. In Pakistan, he oversaw a major operational hub known as the “Pahlawan Center.
He was highly trained in urban and guerrilla warfare and was responsible for training recruits abroad.
