Prior to the establishment of the Republic and the arrival of American forces, Afghanistan had already experienced significant foreign influence and intervention. Even during the Soviet invasion, efforts were made to prepare the ground for the eventual arrival of American forces.
For this purpose, the United States engaged in extensive ideological conditioning across economic, military, academic, cultural, and political spheres, aiming to position itself as a global paragon in various aspects.
Time passed, and the year 2001 arrived. The United States initiated a new conflict, distinct from previous ones. Their mantra was: “Capture their minds; let the land be theirs.” However, the freedom of land holds no meaning if the minds remain occupied. To implement this strategy, they established radio stations, television networks, magazines, books, various websites, and launched initiatives within academic institutions.
As a result, universities produced a generation that recognized only materialism, received theoretical training in their respective fields, and was practically unfit for real-world applications. Their sole pursuit was acquiring material wealth—often through deceit and manipulation. To facilitate this, avenues for all forms of indulgence and immorality were deliberately provided.
A striking example of this moral degradation became evident after the fall of Afghanistan when dozens of individuals, identified as homosexuals, fled from one of the country’s well-known institutions, the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF). Some even openly admitted that they had spent their time there for such purposes. However, there were exceptions—some students were strong Mujahideen who actively resisted the implementation of these agendas.
As time passed, the occupying forces suffered military defeat and fled in disgrace. However, they left behind devastating consequences, including:
1. A Deteriorating Educational Curriculum: This led to the poor training of the youth, leaving them ill-equipped for meaningful contributions to society.
2. An Obstacle to Islamic Governance: The educated generation became a barrier to the implementation of Islamic principles.
3. A Corrupted Environment: Society became one where materialism and lust were the dominant values, eroding moral and ethical foundations.
Consequently, due to immorality, courage and honor among the youth have completely vanished.
