Part 7

ISIS was a project deliberately engineered by the West to discredit Islam and to discourage young people from turning toward it. This was the very generation that had become disillusioned in the heart of Western civilization, restless, thirsty for truth, and searching for meaning beyond materialism. Many of these youths, weary of the emptiness of modern life, had turned their gaze toward the East and the pure teachings of Islam. This growing inclination deeply alarmed the leaders of Western systems. How could this spiritual awakening and path of renewal be stopped? The answer, they believed, lay in manufacturing a distorted image of Islam.
With calculated precision and malicious intent, the West designed a project that came to be known as ISIS. This Takfiri group, which claimed to embody “true” and “authentic” Islam, was in reality nothing more than a war machine created to disfigure the religion’s image. Evidence makes clear that the financial and military support extended to this group was no accident. The aircraft that deliberately avoided striking ISIS positions revealed a telling silence, while mainstream Western media, by endlessly broadcasting scenes of violence, sought to implant a single message in the global mind: “This is the Islam you are looking for.”
The reality, however, was very different. During the same period, universities across the West witnessed an unprecedented interest in Islam. Young men and women, weary of materialistic and humanistic systems, were finding peace, spirituality, and moral elevation in its teachings. Islam, with its principles of brotherhood, justice, and profound spirituality, offered an answer to the West’s deepening crisis of identity. And it was precisely this that instilled fear in the ruling powers.
The Western plan succeeded only in the short term. Influenced by propaganda, many people began equating Islam with violence. Yet the light of truth cannot remain concealed forever. Today, as the veil has lifted, countless seekers, through deeper research and sincere reflection, have come to recognize the beauty of Islam. They have discovered that Daesh was not Islam, but rather the very opposite of it.
This experience serves as a lesson in vigilance. Whenever Islam is presented as a path of salvation, the arrogant powers and their agents inevitably attempt to distort it. Yet one enduring truth remains: Islam is in harmony with human nature and humanity’s pure disposition. It is the faith that proclaims: “There is no compulsion in religion” (Qur’an 2:256).
It is the faith that offers justice, rejects oppression, and grants brotherhood and equality to all people. This truth cannot be erased by any destructive force, for Allah Himself has promised its preservation: “Indeed, it is We who sent down the Reminder, and indeed, We will surely guard it” (Qur’an 15:9).
