Humanity is a great value that forms the foundation of human survival, dignity, and honor. In every society, according to both nature and Sharia, human life, especially the lives of women and children is considered the most sacred and protected. Sadly, many aggressors in the heat of wars and conflicts often trample on these values, turning innocent people into victims of their brutal bombings.
In this context, just last evening, the Pakistani aggressor army once again shelled civilian homes in areas near Asadabad, the center of Kunar province. At least one person was martyred, many others were injured, and homes and property were damaged. This tragedy is not just a blow to a single family but a shock to the conscience of all humanity, leaving the entire Afghan nation in grief and strengthening the resolve of revenge of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s defense forces. The continuation of such attacks shows that these acts are not isolated incidents but part of a repeated pattern.
Such attacks, which specifically target civilians, especially women and children, are clear human and war crimes against humanity. The lives, safety, and dignity of civilians must always be protected, and no attack that harms defenseless people is acceptable. These unforgivable incidents show that the Pakistani aggressor army continues to violate the rules of war and gives no value to human life.
When war reaches the homes of innocent people, it goes beyond the rules of combat. According to international law and human principles, civilians must be protected in all circumstances. Targeting women and children is not only a moral wrong but also a clear human and war crime. No reason or excuse can make such actions legitimate.
For a long time, the Pakistani military regime has repeatedly violated Afghanistan’s airspace and continued bombing civilian areas, homes, and public facilities. These repeated attacks are not only a violation of a sovereign country’s authority but also a disrespect to international law and human rights. In no society, whether Islamic or non-Islamic, are such war crimes considered part of warfare; serious action is always taken against such incidents.
Bombing women and children is a terrible act that shocks every conscience. It not only causes physical harm but also deeply affects the mental and emotional state of society. A father who loses his children and wife in the fire of war is forced to live a life full of pain and grief. Mothers who lose their children and husbands face an irreparable sorrow for the rest of their lives.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of the international community, human rights organizations, and justice-seeking institutions not to remain silent in the face of such actions. Silence supports oppression, and justice is achieved only when the perpetrators are held accountable for their deeds. If this cycle continues, not only will the values of humanity be harmed, but the foundations of the global order will also be weakened.
