This article delves into the successful efforts of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) in countering the Daesh extremists, shedding light on the significant weakening of Daesh in recent years and delving into the factors contributing to the success of the Islamic Emirate.
Since the day the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) regained power, bringing the entire country under its control, all occupying forces, including the U.S., left the country, the republican administration dismantled, and an Islamic system established – at that time, the Daesh extremists re-emerged.
Initially, Daesh carried out attacks in public places, killing and injuring civilians, aiming to turn Afghanistan back into a battleground and impose the illegitimate demands of its foreign backers.
However, the security forces of the Islamic Emirate decisively and vigorously confronted this misguided faction. Operations were carried out in regions where these insurgents had emerged, resulting in substantial losses for them.
As a result of the Islamic Emirate’s unprecedented successful campaign, key Daesh commanders were eliminated, numerous members were apprehended, some fled the country seeking shelter in neighboring nations.
Following three years of effective combat by the Islamic Emirate, Daesh has been severely crippled. The group is no longer capable of executing large-scale assaults, experiencing considerable setbacks both from a military and ideological perspective, with its true nature unveiled to the public.
Presently, Daesh holds no ground in Afghanistan, lacks supporters, possesses no control over any region of the country, and is in a state of pronounced decline. It is our conviction that if the Islamic Emirate sustains this progress, this misguided cluster of extremists will soon be entirely eradicated from the nation.
