Illustrious Personalities of the Ummah
With a humble pen and a heart full of reverence, I undertake the sacred duty of commemorating the life, education, and valiant struggle of Martyr Naseeb-ur-Rehman “Intizar” (may Allah accept him)—a radiant soul who walked among the faithful as a living testament to courage and conviction. This narrative weaves together the golden threads of his heroism, sacrifice, and unshakable faith, each word etched with the ink of remembrance. He stood as an unwavering mountain against the modern-day Pharaohs of our age—resisting both the American occupation and its venomous, Zionist-inspired project, the ISIS. May this testimony preserve the light of his struggle and inspire generations to come, so that the sacrifices of such pure souls may never fade from the annals of time.
Birth and Early Life
Martyr Naseeb-ur-Rahman “Intizar” (may Allah accept him), a noble and pious warrior on the sacred path of truth, was born in 1374 Hijri-Shamsi (1994–1995 CE) in the honorable village of Hasan Khel, nestled within the martyr-nurturing Sheniz Valley of Sayedabad District, Wardak Province. He was born into a distinguished and devout family, renowned for their unwavering commitment to Islam—a lineage that nurtured his spiritual resolve and prepared him for the noble struggle he would ultimately embrace.
Education
Martyr Intizar began his educational journey under the tutelage of the local mosque’s imam, where he absorbed the foundational principles of Islamic knowledge. He later pursued formal education up to the 12th grade at the esteemed Hazrat Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) High School in his native district, skillfully balancing both religious instruction and modern academic studies.
Struggle and Armed Resistance
While still pursuing his studies, Martyr Intizar also shouldered the burden of supporting his family. In search of livelihood, he traveled to neighboring Iran, where he endured two years of strenuous labor under harsh conditions. Upon his return—and before even recovering from the fatigue of exile—he joined the ranks of the mujahideen, committing himself to the armed struggle for the sake of Allah. He became an active member of a group led by the indomitable commander Martyr Haji Muhibullah “Waqas” (may Allah accept him), a renowned figure of resistance from Sayedabad District.
Martyr Intizar commenced his jihad with daring guerrilla operations, confronting the enemy in ambushes and front-line engagements. In the burning trenches of resistance, he stood with unwavering resolve, steadfast faith, and exceptional courage. Time and again, he was wounded on the battlefield, offering his flesh and blood without hesitation—sacrifices that bore testimony to his devotion. Among his many injuries, he lost two fingers, a silent yet enduring symbol of his commitment to the cause of truth.
To further demoralize and defeat the enemy, the mujahideen escalated their operations from small-scale guerrilla actions to large-scale assaults, storming the very strongholds of tyranny. Martyr Intizar was consistently at the forefront of these daring offensives, embodying the resolve of the righteous.
Amidst these trials, his own family bore immense sacrifice: his brother—another bloom from the same noble tree—had already embraced martyrdom along this sacred path. Their pious mother’s heart was enveloped in sorrow, while the martyr’s widow and orphaned children faced a world stripped of comfort and sweetness, bearing the bitter weight of loss with quiet dignity.
In view of these circumstances, Martyr Intizar’s family decided to arrange his marriage, and within a few days, he was betrothed to a virtuous and modest young woman. After spending only a brief period in the serenity of newlywed life, he once again parted from the comforts of home—this time to join the special mujahideen units from Sayedabad District heading toward Nangarhar. There, he took up arms against the seditious and Zionist-backed project known as ISIS—an avowed enemy of Islam and Muslims, and a destructive instrument in the hands of foreign occupiers.
At this juncture, the misguided rebels of ISIS—facing the resolute advance of the righteous mujahideen—had suffered devastating defeats. Relentless strikes by these heavenly warriors had plunged them into a state of desperation. In response, the occupying forces intensified their presence, imposing strict surveillance over the region. All access routes were heavily monitored, and relentless aerial reconnaissance was conducted day and night to intercept and prevent the arrival of additional mujahideen reinforcements..
In a bid to secure their long-term interests in Afghanistan and to suppress, discredit, and ultimately destroy the only truly Islamic movement on a global scale, the American occupiers invested heavily in the Zionist-origin project known as ISIS. They delegated this task to the so-called National Directorate of Security (NDS) and various high-ranking officials of the puppet regime, mandating them to facilitate and sustain this destructive initiative. The confessions of several former regime figures stand as undeniable testimony to this coordinated collusion.
Martyrdom
The savage and bloodthirsty project known as ISIS—engineered through the intricate strategies, ideologies, and covert operations of American intelligence—has emerged as the foremost sponsor of global terrorism. More than any other faction, this group has served as a supplier of mercenaries, waging war against Islam from within. Cloaked in the name of religion, they have butchered the intellects, leaders, and generations of the Muslim Ummah for a pitiful price. Throughout history, this treacherous group has stabbed Islamic movements and their advocates in the back, working tirelessly to derail its progress in service of foreign interests.
The mention of the Khawarij and their modern embodiment, ISIS, evokes memories of violence, chaos, and indiscriminate takfir. In opposition to this sinister and Western-backed fitnah, Martyr Intizar, just one month after his marriage, joined a special operations unit from Sayedabad District, setting out for Nangarhar to confront this deviant faction.
While passing through the Markikhel area of Sherzad District, their convoy was struck by an American drone. In that moment of sacrifice, Martyr Intizar, along with several of his righteous companions, attained martyrdom.
