Part 2
By Rif’at Shafiq
In the previous section, we discussed the necessity for the Muslim Ummah to identify the ideological and political forces that stand in opposition to it. Such awareness can only be achieved by closely examining the enemy’s traits, doctrines, and the corrupting influences that emerge from the deviant ideology of Zionism and from the dangerous teachings embedded in the Talmud. Therefore, we will present a systematic explanation of the attributes and beliefs of the Jews.
1. Prejudice and Racial Superiority
One of the most prominent traits and afflictions historically associated with the Jews, particularly global Zionism, is a deeply rooted sense of prejudice and racial superiority. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an:
{وَقَالُوا لَنْ يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَى}
“And they say, ‘None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian.'”
The scholars of Tafsir (may Allah have mercy on them) explain that this verse reveals how deeply prejudice, a sense of superiority, and self-glorification are rooted in the Jewish nature, foundation, and mentality. They regard no nation as deserving of Paradise except their own.
A striking example of this prejudice can be seen in their dealings with the tribes of Aws and Khazraj before the prophethood of the Prophet (PBUH). The Jews would warn them that the final Prophet was soon to appear, and that they, the Jews, would stand beside him to destroy them as the peoples of ‘Ad and Iram were destroyed. Yet when the Prophet (PBUH) was indeed sent, it was the Jews themselves who denied him. Their opposition stemmed from their assumption that the final Prophet would undoubtedly belong to the Children of Israel. When he came instead from the noble lineage of Ismail, their entrenched racial pride and tribal prejudice prevented them from accepting him.
The Talmud, which many Jews regard as equal to, and in some cases even above, the Torah, openly promotes ideas that cultivate racial superiority. It presents Judaism as a privileged religion, the Torah as a book meant exclusively for them, and God as a deity particular to the Children of Israel.
These concepts stand in complete contrast to the Qur’anic message, which describes Allah as “the Lord of all worlds,” “the Lord of mankind,” and “the Sustainer of everything.”
The Jews hold the doctrinal belief that they are God’s chosen and superior nation. We say that this was true only when they upheld the message of monotheism, struggled against idolatry, and obeyed Allah and His prophets. However, when they deviated from, abandoned moral values, and opposed the mission of the prophets, Allah changed His treatment of them.
Judaism and Zionism are dangerous precisely because they are saturated with ideas of racial superiority, prejudice, and self-exaltation. This danger extends far beyond the Muslim world; it threatens humanity at large. Hanna Massad, a Christian researcher, conducted an extensive study on prejudice within Jewish and Zionist thought. In his book The Barbarism of Zionist Teachings, he notes that, in the eyes of the Jews, even Allah is a racial deity, and Zionists believe that Allah is the Lord of the Jews alone. This is why they frequently use the expression “God of Israel.”
Once it becomes clear that Judaism and Zionism are rooted in racial prejudice, the implications become evident. They maintain that a Jew may not kill another Jew, but that the killing of other nations, especially the Canaanites and Palestinians, is not only permitted but considered obligatory. They also teach that after war, the women and children of other peoples should be taken as slaves, and their wealth plundered and seized.
