Al-Merasad has received information that two key ISKP members were neutralized last night in an operation conducted by the security forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the Mano Gai district of Kunar.
Sources informed Al-Mersaad that the operation took place last night in the Shurak area of Manogai , resulting in the demise of two significant members of the ISIS group. Furthermore, two weapons, ammunition, hand grenades, and mines were confiscated from them.
As per the sources, one of the deceased, a Pakistani national, was involved in various destructive activities, including an explosion that targeted a Ranger vehicle on the first of the current month of Rabi’ al-Thani in the Diwa-Gul Dara of Chawkay district.
The sources added that the Pakistani individual who was killed was a vital member and operational commander of ISIS-Khorasan. His companion, who also met the same fate, had entered Afghanistan from Pakistan three months prior.
