Part 1
By Iqbal Hamza
The current insecurity in Pakistan is not new; it began almost during the rule of Pervez Musharraf. Let us understand how the Pakistan that was once called the “Fortress of Islam” now sees its young Muslims chanting the slogans of jihad and holy war. These conflicts are nearly two and a half decades old.
Why, thirty years ago, did the call for jihad not rise against the Pakistani army?
Thirty years ago, Afghanistan and India were the same neighbors. So why did they not intervene at that time?
India has been an enemy of Pakistan since its creation. If this is really about Indian and Afghan interference, then why was it impossible thirty years ago? Let us look at the truth.
Pakistan’s harmful policies forced its own people, on religious grounds, to start a jihad against the Pakistani army, which began under Pervez Musharraf. The Pakistan once called the “Fortress of Islam,” admired by Arab countries in the name of Islam, saw its military leader, Pervez Musharraf, side with the Crusaders against the Muslim and mujahid country of Afghanistan for a few dollars, even giving the Americans military bases.
So, under what law did Pakistan have the right to give space to the enemies of a neighboring Muslim country for a few dollars? Is it the act of a Muslim to support disbelievers against fellow Muslims for money?
Pakistani scholars must answer this: Does Sharia allow a Muslim to support a fighting disbeliever against another Muslim?
In any Muslim or non-Muslim country in the world, has it ever happened that a country’s ambassador is handed over, tied, to the enemies of that country? Does Islam or disbelief permit such an act?
It is strange that Pakistan only claims that its enemies are in Afghanistan, even though it has no proof, yet it still uses this empty claim to justify attacks on Afghanistan.
On the other hand, Afghanistan’s real enemies and disbelievers were based in Pakistan, with tanks and aircraft, coming across the border daily to carry out attacks. For twenty years, Pakistan gave these disbelievers a path against Afghanistan in exchange for dollars, yet it never admitted any responsibility.
The most striking fact is that even today, Pakistan continues to rent its territory to Americans and other disbelievers for operations against Afghanistan. Every day, U.S. aircraft fly from their skies into Afghanistan.
What else did Pervez Musharraf do? Musharraf carried out actions so clear that even Pakistan’s uneducated population could see that jihad against the Pakistani army had become obligatory.
Pervez Musharraf and the Pakistani military regime handed over their own honor, Aafia Siddiqui, to the disbelievers in exchange for dollars. This alone became a clear reason for jihad against them.
Yes, only a few in Pakistan may not care about the sale of honor, but for the majority of the Muslim population, honor is more important than dollars, or even than themselves.
Pervez Musharraf, through the very army that calls itself Muslim, attacked the Lal Masjid and Hafsa Madrasa, killing dozens of unarmed hafiz and hafizas.
A misunderstanding that the American puppets failed to grasp was that the Islamic Ummah never accepts the occupation of disbelievers. The same mistake was made by the Afghan republic, which allowed disbelievers to bomb the nation. When Muslims resisted, they claimed it was Pakistan’s interference. Musharraf and the Pakistani generals did the same.
In the tribal areas, they allowed the Americans to bomb for dollars. Thousands of tribal people were killed. The Pakistani army also bombed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, destroying homes and burning markets.
The Pakistani army displaced millions of tribal people. Now, when they react, Pakistan calls it interference by other countries. The army made thousands of people disappear in the tribal areas and destroyed thousands of mosques and madrassas.
For their personal gain, Pakistani generals sold not only Islam and its sacred symbols, but everything that could fill their pockets. They became so intoxicated by American dollars that now they are reaping the consequences of their own actions.
According to documents linked to the infamous Epstein, Imran Khan is seen as a threat to Western and Israeli interests. Today, we see the Pakistani army putting Imran Khan in prison, which is a major cause of political instability.
The Pakistani regime has made thousands of Baloch people disappear. At first, the Baloch held peaceful protests, but the army, drunk on dollars, ignored them. This forced the Baloch to take up arms. Similarly, the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also started with demonstrations, but the army pushed them toward military resistance.
Brief Summary
The Pakistani army, through the following crimes, pushed its own people into conflict against it:
1. The army and generals sold themselves to the West and America against their Muslim population and neighboring countries.
2. They handed over their territory, military centers, and religion to disbelievers.
3. At the direction of the West, they killed their own people, displaced them, and auctioned off honor.
4. They crushed political parties and martyred scholars and politicians.
5. They engaged in trade with disbelievers while committing corruption, bribery, oppression, kidnappings, and killings against their people.
The Pakistani army still benefits from these conflicts, as their personal gains remain secure. Why Pakistan is at fault in negotiations with Afghanistan will be explained in the next part.
