The diligent, influential, and formidable leader of Hamas achieved the great rank of martyrdom.
Various biased and dishonest media sources from both the East and West consistently alleged that the courageous commander of Hamas, Martyr Yahya Sinwar, was concealing himself in tunnels in Gaza and using Israeli captives as shields. Nevertheless, alongside numerous Hamas mujahideen, despite his advanced age, he valiantly stood at the forefront, embracing the noble honor of martyrdom.
This honored martyr of Islam joins the ranks of the martyrs while wearing his military uniform, not because he was discovered and attacked by the Jews, but because he was standing on the front line of the battle, leading the fight with the banner of leadership in his hand.
He was present on the battlefield, emulating the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and akin to numerous of the Prophet’s commanders and companions, he was martyred in direct confrontation.
Undoubtedly, the martyrdom of Sinwar (may Allah accept him) will not weaken Hamas. The struggle in Gaza is one driven by faith and commitment. Leadership will transition to another valiant figure, and the determination of the movement will only intensify.
The conflict in Gaza is not new. The uprising known as the “Al-Aqsa Storm” is the culmination of the sacrifices, heroism, and blood of numerous commanders and fighters who, from the outset, refused to bow down to tyranny and consistently resisted the Israeli occupation.
From the martyr Sheikh Ahmed Yassin to the martyr Yahya Sinwar (may Allah accept them both), scores of commanders and leaders have been martyred, yet Hamas and the mujahideen in Gaza have not veered from their objective.
Their message to the world is clear: Our struggle is not for what you imagine. We are committed to restoring the honor and dignity of the Ummah, and we will continue to sacrifice for the liberation of the sacred land of Jerusalem.
Our battle against the forces of falsehood will persist until the very trees and stones speak in our favor, aiding us in vanquishing the enemies of Allah S.WT.
We will persist on this path and remain resolute in it until the culmination of our lives. Insha’Allah, whatever the outcome, it will be victory for us—whether through martyrdom or triumph.
