ISIS’s Foreign-Planned Attacks Will Not Weaken Us, Say Officials
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, during the funeral of Martyr Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani, stated that all attacks perpetrated by IS-K in the preceding seven months were orchestrated beyond the borders of Afghanistan.
In his remarks, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi emphasized that the martyrdoms in ISIS attacks will not weaken the Emirate. He highlighted that every minister and individual considers martyrdom an honor and a success for themselves.
Muttaqi urged countries involved in directly or indirectly supporting ISIS-Khawarij to cease ignoring their presence within their borders. He stated, “This seditious group harms everyone. Do not provide shelter to such oppressors, nor protect them under your wings.”
The Foreign Minister also highlighted that the martyrdom of sincere individuals like Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani will inevitably have consequences, saying, “Those who provide havens, support, and encouragement to such individuals will eventually suffer the consequences of their actions.”
Similarly, the Minister of Interior Affairs, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, said that they leave the vengeance for Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani’s martyrdom to Allah Almighty, as their jihad and struggle are solely for Allah’s sake, with no personal motives involved.
Khalifa Sirajuddin expressed his sorrow, stating, “I am only saddened that the perpetrators of this cowardly act did not realize that Haji Sahib Khalil was an enemy of the infidels, with a $5 million bounty placed on him by the Americans. He was not an enemy of Muslims. What significant achievement do you think you gained by martyring a Muslim and considering it a matter of pride?”
It is significant to note that last Wednesday, Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani, the Minister for Refugee Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, was martyred in an attack by an ISIS-Khorasan operative shortly after the midday prayer. His funeral was held in his ancestral village in the Gerda Serai District of Paktia Province, where he was buried. This is the same location from where he initiated jihad against two major infidel empires.
