Illustrious Personalities of the Ummah
Saeed Syed Faridullah Hudhaifa, the son of Sayed Mubin, grandson of Syed Jilani, embodied a resolute conscience, steadfast faith, and admirable moral principles. He was born in 1382 H.S. in Wardak province, Day Mirdad District, in the village of Tangee Syedan, into a religious and esteemed jihadist family.
Hudhaifa commenced his primary religious studies at his village madrasah (As’hab Safa) and pursued modern education at Shaheed Molana Ghulam Darwish school. While still a child, his homeland faced invasion and occupation by the Crusaders.
Martyr Hudhaifa had not yet reached adulthood when he became an active member of the Islamic Taliban movement. Alongside his dedication to jihad, Hudhaifa continued his educational pursuits.
Alongside his religious studies, he successfully completed modern education up to the intermediate level.
During this time, his passion for Jihad grew stronger within him. Consequently, he directly engaged with Jihadi centers, where he officially aligned himself with the mujahideen and commenced Jihad in the Baksmand area, a valley situated in the Chak district.
Martyr Hudhaifa Sahib swiftly became a skilled and formidable Mujahid. He and his comrades transformed the terrain into a formidable battleground against the communist regime and their followers, launching potent attacks from all directions.
Hudhaifa embodied enlightened thinking, unwavering determination, great talent, profound piety, and a profound wisdom.
Hudhaifa exerted relentless efforts in defending religion and country against occupying forces, enduring physical and mental challenges to achieve his noble objective of elevating the word of God, seeking the satisfaction of Allah, striving for independence, and strengthening the Islamic system.
On several occasions, Hudhaifa ventured into Nangarhar province to combat the Khawarij, fierce opponents of the Islamic system. He actively engaged in strenuous battles against ISIS, eliminating numerous enemies of Islam and instilling confidence in his fellow Muslims. Throughout his jihadist operations, Hudhaifa sustained severe injuries, shedding his pure blood for the cause of Allah.
Hudhaifa was a handsome, courageous, and dignified youth who fearlessly spoke the truth without hesitation.
On May 5, 2020, a significant ground and aerial operation was conducted in the district of Chak by American forces and their subordinates with the aim of asserting control over the district and executing their reprehensible goals. However, the decision of Allah was different.
Shaheed Hudhaifa and his jihadist companions stood firm against the enemy. After intense clashes and fierce battles, on that very day, Hudhaifa and several comrades were targeted by drones and valiantly sacrificed their youthful lives in pursuit of their faith.
His passing deeply grieved many hearts, and tears were shed in his memory. Hudhaifa was a beloved figure, mourned by both friends and foes alike. At the time of his departure from this fleeting world, Hudhaifa had not yet entered into marriage.
A friend of the martyr Huzaifa recounts the following story: This young man, named Huzaifah, was known for his sincerity and devotion to the worship of Allah. He possessed the ability to make accurate predictions about his future life.
The friend narrates the incident, stating that one day, while Hudhaifa was engaged in Tahajjud prayers, he remained in prostration for an extended period. The friend, overcome by sleep, awoke to the sound of Hudhaifa’s weeping and supplication.
Hudhaifa was seated facing the Qibla, his hands outstretched towards the Almighty, tears streaming down his face, when suddenly his eyes met mine.
When inquired about his well-being, Hudhaifa responded, “I have not informed anyone else; I have decided that I will meet my Lord this year in Ramadan.”
Hudhaifa was a dedicated young mujahid who maintained a special relationship with his Lord and was eager to fulfill the promise he made to his lord at the earliest.
Everyone beseeched their Lord and implored to meet their beloved and esteemed mujahid. Thus, it was a decree of fate. In the noble battles of jihad against the enemies of religion and homeland, he attained the highest position of martyrdom and fulfilled his promise to his Lord. Allah indeed shows the fulfillment of promises of the truthful ones.
Translation:
Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration –
