In this world, there exists a peculiar class of individuals who neither accomplish anything meaningful themselves nor make any sincere effort toward doing so. Yet, they strive to cast their shadow as large as a mountain in the light of others’ achievements. Such people are unfamiliar with the real foundations of success—effort, sincerity, and perseverance—and instead, become enslaved by their desire to appear important. They often choose paths that stand in direct contradiction to truth, honor, and dignity.
Rather than introspect or strive for self-improvement, they attribute their failures to the success of others. Their inner emptiness is filled with jealousy, frustration, and a deep sense of inferiority. When unable to contribute meaningfully themselves, they resort to discrediting those who do—fabricating lies, spreading baseless rumors, and desperately seeking validation through deception.
Among such individuals is former CIA agent Sarah Adams, who has no notable achievements throughout her career to speak of. Yet, without a trace of shame, she routinely takes to social media to cast aspersions on the IEA’s successful counter-terrorism operations against the Daeshi Khawarij.
In the past, nearly every claim made by Sarah Adams regarding the IEA has proven to be false. However, far from retracting or apologizing, she persists with renewed vigor—each day seemingly bringing forth a fresh batch of baseless accusations.
In a recent counterterrorism breakthrough, the IEA’s intelligence forces executed a precision operation in Kabul, resulting in the destruction of a bomb-making facility and the neutralization of two senior IS-K operatives. Despite irrefutable evidence of the operation’s success, Sarah Adams brazenly dismissed it as ‘staged’—advancing the baseless claim that the site was already under Taliban control.
Her allegations went further. Publishing a series of posts labeled “Day 1,” “Day 2,” “Day 3,” and so on, she continued to propagate similarly unfounded narratives. Several incidents she attributed to ISIS were in fact rooted in local criminal activity or personal disputes. Her inability—or unwillingness—to distinguish fact from fiction highlights either a deliberate intent to mislead or a profoundly confused state of mind.
Her latest absurd claims reflect not just dishonesty but a disturbed mental state. It gives the impression that her entire professional career is built upon false operations and fabrications.
One particularly absurd claim she made was that the house raided by the intelligence forces was actually the building of the “Zulfiqar unit”—a complete fabrication with no basis in reality. In today’s world of digital transparency, to suggest that an official office could be used as a secret ISIS hideout is not only implausible but exposes the delusional nature of her assertions.
The IEA has consistently maintained that ISIS is an enemy of Islam and the Afghan people. Its firm and ongoing campaign to eliminate this scourge has been underway since before the Emirate’s second rise to power. The IEA has relentlessly fought this fitnah and has succeeded in expelling it from the Afghan territory. Even today, wherever remnants of this fitnah attempt to resurface, they are dealt with swiftly and decisively.
The results speak for themselves. Hundreds of ISIS militants have been killed in operations. Many others have been captured, and numerous operatives have fled across borders in search of safe havens. The effectiveness of these operations is recognized not only by regional states and analysts but also by adversaries of the IEA. Even the CIA—the very agency that once employed Sarah Adams—has acknowledged the IEA’s success in combating ISIS.
This raises a critical question: Has Sarah Adams now placed herself above the very agency she once served? While the CIA accepts the reality of these operations, she continues to label them as fabrications. What does that say about her credibility?
The IEA does not act on the directives of any foreign power. It operates in defense of its homeland, in service of Islam, and in the interest of the Afghan people. Its battle against ISIS is a moral, religious, and national obligation—aimed at securing peace, stability, and justice for the nation.
The recent operation, like many before it, was a clear and successful act of national defense. There is no need to fabricate such events when irrefutable documentation and evidence already exist.
The repeated and baseless claims made by Sarah Adams raise serious concerns. One cannot help but ask: Do such individuals not, in effect, serve the interests of ISIS? By undermining operations against the group and amplifying its presence in the media, are they not inadvertently supporting the very fitnah they claim to oppose? Perhaps they do so to maintain their own relevance—knowing that without such provocations, their voice would fade into irrelevance.
To such individuals, we say: You have already faced defeat at the hands of a nation fortified with faith, resolve, and truth. You gained nothing then, and you will gain nothing now. Truth, sincerity, and faith will prevail once again, In shā’ Allāh.
