Syrian security forces carried out a targeted operation against an ISIS hideout in the city of Aleppo, resulting in the elimination of three ISIS militants and the detention of four others.
In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the operation was conducted on Saturday and led to the seizure of a cache of weapons, explosive materials, and a suicide vest from the location. Authorities confirmed that the ISIS cell was actively engaged in sabotage operations and was planning additional attacks.
It is noteworthy that in December of last year, following the collapse of the Bashar regime, ISIS had vowed to continue its insurgency against the newly established government. Nevertheless, a significant number of its members have been neutralized or apprehended in operations executed by the new government.
