The spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), Zabihullah Mujahid, said at a press conference on Sunday that a dominant and biased faction within Pakistan’s military establishment cannot tolerate Afghanistan’s current stability and progress. As a result, he said, this faction has resorted to conspiracies aimed at creating concern about Afghanistan and has provided sanctuary to ISIS-K militants on Pakistani soil to threaten Afghanistan and the wider region.
Confirming earlier reports by Al-Mirsaad, Mujahid said that all attacks carried out by ISIS militants in Afghanistan and the region over the past two years were planned in centers located in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the attackers also received their training.
