Many Western governments are well aware of the truth behind ISIS, a fact that is corroborated by the statements of numerous scholars and analysts. This growing body of evidence should compel both the informed and the skeptical to ask: Who truly stands behind ISIS?
How did this group rise to prominence so rapidly? Why do they deliberately seek to destroy ancient cultural heritage across the region? What compels them to drive religious and ethnic minorities from their ancestral homelands? Why do they stoke the flames of hatred between religions and sects? Why do they sow division among tribes that have peacefully coexisted for centuries?
These and other critical questions raise strong suspicions that sinister geopolitical agendas lie behind ISIS’s actions. There is ample reason to believe that ISIS exploits the name of Islam as a strategic tool and weapon to fulfill its own ambitions. In doing so, they grossly distort the image of Islam—portraying it as a violent, uncivilized faith divorced from humanity, compassion, mercy, and justice.
It is no surprise, then, that credible reports and testimonies expose the ignorance of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in matters of Islamic jurisprudence and Sharia. His extremism and incompetence have been well documented, revealing the absence of genuine scholarly grounding or religious legitimacy within the group’s leadership.
Our objective is to clarify the authentic and moderate stance of Sharia, as mandated by Allah the Almighty, in contrast to the distortions and misinterpretations propagated by these extremists and ignorant zealots. We are committed to removing ambiguities and presenting clear evidence from the Qur’an and the Hadith, so that hearts may be reassured and minds illuminated with the truth.
Another fundamental aim is to educate and rescue those innocent and misled youths—brothers and sisters from various countries—who join ISIS under the illusion of contributing to an ideal Islamic state. Many of them, once within the group, come to the painful realization that ISIS is, in fact, a repugnant criminal organization masquerading as a religious movement.
A significant number among them long to escape its authoritarian grip. We urge these individuals to repent sincerely and return to their true spiritual path, for in Islam, the one who repents is as one who has never sinned.
ISIS conducts an aggressive propaganda campaign designed to justify its abhorrent crimes under the pretext of defending Islam and implementing Sharia. Simultaneously, it seeks to manipulate public sentiment and win the hearts of the masses. It is therefore our shared responsibility to protect ourselves and our communities from the deception, misguidance, destruction, and death spread by this organization.
Our mission is also to awaken the Muslim Ummah from despair. We offer glad tidings: victory over these Khawarij is not only possible—it is inevitable. Every innocent person martyred by their hands is among the most honored of martyrs, and those who remain patient in the face of their tyranny will be rewarded by Allah and will witness triumph in due time.
Just as history bore witness to the downfall of the Assad regime, so too will it record the collapse of this corrupt faction. Their followers are actively undermining the core of the Islamic faith, assaulting the spiritual well-being of Muslims, and replacing the rich legacy of scholarly jurisprudence and divine rulings with the ignorant and baseless pronouncements of unqualified individuals.
These so-called leaders have neither tread the path of piety nor tasted the humility that comes with true servitude to Allah. The gap between them and the noble character of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH is as vast as the distance between the earth and the heavens.
Among these criminals, there is not a single scholar worthy of trust—not in creed, not in jurisprudence, and not in their interpretation of divine law. Not one of them is a genuine student of knowledge who has studied under reputable scholars. On what grounds, then, do they presume to issue fatwas and religious rulings?
Their level of understanding is beneath even that of novice students. They issue death sentences without deliberation, viewing the killing of humans as no more significant than slaughtering animals. They persistently declare fellow Muslims as disbelievers, and arbitrarily decide to kill, imprison, and plunder them.
To call them merely ignorant would be an understatement—they are, in fact, worse than ignorant. They are destroyers of faith, enemies of knowledge, and a blight upon the Muslim Ummah.
