Sources have informed Al-Mersaad that Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) intends to send a delegation to Turkey to bolster coordination with disruptive and insurgent groups.
As per the sources, the Pakistani intelligence agency aims to establish closer cooperation with the leaders of these disruptive factions to instigate insecurity and chaos in Afghanistan, strategically and tactically employing them against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
This decision follows previous instances where Pakistan utilized the IS-K to further its objectives within Afghan territory. Recent security reports indicate that the Pakistani Intelligence Agency has recently set up new training facilities for ISIS in Balochistan, where individuals are being trained for regional and international terrorist activities.
The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid, recently confirmed in a statement that training centers for ISIS had indeed been established in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He further noted that many of the ISIS members involved in recent acts of insecurity in Afghanistan had crossed over from Pakistan.
