Takfīr of Religious Scholars
The martyrdom of the Ummah’s righteous scholars at the hands of the Daeshi Khawarij represents only one aspect of this malign group’s broader campaign against the legitimate heirs of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Acting as proxies for their Western patrons, their primary objective is the eradication of intellectual and spiritual guidance within Muslim societies—replacing the light of knowledge with the darkness of extremism.
As proxies for their Western patrons, the true successors of Ibn Muljam have waged a relentless campaign against the scholars of the Ummah—not only targeting those who are alive but also defiling the legacies of enlightened thinkers who have passed away and are no longer present to defend themselves.
From the very inception of their cursed existence, the Daeshi Khawarij have meticulously crafted and executed numerous malicious stratagems to defame the noble scholars of the Ummah. These venomous campaigns seek specifically to undermine those who protect the Muslim community from the fitnah of Khariji ideology—a dangerous deviation that cloaks itself in Islamic garb while functioning as a weapon for Islam’s enemies, delivering devastating blows to both the spiritual and intellectual foundations of the Ummah.
Throughout this period, the Daeshi Khawarij have engaged in the reckless practice of takfīr—declaring as disbelievers every scholar and knowledgeable Muslim who opposed them. These accusations have been based on flimsy, baseless pretexts and systematically deployed to drive a wedge between the general Muslim public and the revered figures of knowledge and piety.
One prominent example of their propaganda efforts is the series titled “Callers to Hellfire,” which was disseminated across social media and digital platforms. Through these programs, the Khawarij manipulated and misrepresented the words of respected scholars, falsely attributing statements to them and, despite their profound ignorance of religious matters, audaciously labeling them as apostates.
Indeed, by disrespecting and dishonoring the scholars of the Ummah, these modern-day Kharijites have insulted the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and, ultimately, disrespected Allah SWT—God forbid.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated:
“مَن أهانَ عالِماً فَقَد أهانَني، وَمَن أهانَني فَقَد أهانَ اللَّهَ.”
(Narrated by al-Tabarani and al-Bayhaqi)
Translation:
“Whoever insults a scholar has insulted me, and whoever insults me has insulted Allah.”
(Narrated by al-Tabarani and al-Bayhaqi)
Through their widespread campaigns of defamation, the Daeshi Khawarij have sought to alienate the Ummah from authentic sources of Islamic knowledge. Yet, history has consistently proven that the light of truth cannot be extinguished. Despite all conspiracies and hostilities, the scholars continue to fulfill their duty of enlightening the Ummah.
