Al-Mirsaad has received information from verified sources that a major ISIS Khawarij center in the Qambar Khel area of Khyber has been destroyed in drone strikes, with a significant number of ISIS fighters killed.
Reliable sources have confirmed to Al-Mirsaad that late last night, another key and concealed ISIS Khawarij center in the Qambar Khel area of Bara, in Khyber Agency, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was completely destroyed in precise drone strikes, with a large number of ISIS fighters stationed there killed.
Although the exact casualty figures have not yet been confirmed, sources say the strike targeted a key operational hub and hideout used by ISIS to plan attacks, completely destroying the facility.
According to information obtained from sources, the ISIS Khawarij had established this hidden center in the Qambar Khel area to recruit fighters, plan attacks, and coordinate subversive operations across the region and neighboring areas. The center was also being used to provide training for ISIS fighters. As a result of the strike, all ISIS Khawarij present at the center were either killed or wounded.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time ISIS centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and surrounding areas have come under attack. Al-Mirsaad had previously revealed in its documented reports that the group’s most important center in the Jabbar Mela area of Khyber was destroyed in drone strikes. That center was reportedly run by well-known ISIS leaders, including Abdul Hakim Tawhidi and Gul Nazim.
Likewise, in a similar strike on a major ISIS Khawarij hideout in the Shanko area of Bara, eleven ISIS fighters were killed on the spot.
