The Partisans, the Protocolists, and the Applauders

Umar Shaheed

The legitimate ruling Sharia system in Afghanistan was established after a prolonged struggle with the assistance of Almighty Allah.

The intellectuals never believed that the Islamic Emirate and Sharia system would be established as a result of such a clear and decisive victory.

The protection and continuation of this system will persist with the help of Allah.

Allah supports Muslims when there is no sin among them, especially collective sins. Discord is considered one of the collective sins.

The superior and successful Muslim leader, in maintaining the legitimate system, always relies on Allah’s help and knows under what circumstances Muslims are deprived of Allah’s help.

Therefore, he always focuses in his speeches on recommendations, which, if applied by Muslims, will ensure that Allah’s help will always be with them and protect them from deprivation. The perfect leader always thinks of the system, the unity of Muslims, and strengthening his ranks.

He does not glorify himself, does not care about foreign ideas and theories, does not delay in directing the right path, and does not care about blaming anyone. When the leader is perfect, his goal is the pleasure of Allah in every word and deed, his concern is with the system of Muslims instead of himself, he prefers the hereafter instead of worldly life, then his ministers will certainly be ideal. He does not choose ministers who do not follow his path.

However, a group of Muslims who are afflicted with the disease of intellectual deviation and influenced by the thoughts of foreigners, consistently oppose the notion of a perfect leader, ideal ministers, and best system. These individuals provide diverse interpretations for every speech and action, with the aim of undermining confidence in the system and instilling doubt and suspicion among Muslims. Below, we will outline some of these groups:

1. The Partisans or Factionalists

This category of Muslims is influenced by democracy and republicanism; they prioritize the interests of their party and group over the greater interests of Muslims.

They squandered the gains of jihad against the Red Army in Afghanistan, engaged in factionalism, and hindered the opportunity to establish a legitimate governing system. They also propagated the notion within the community that a legitimate system cannot be achieved through jihad and conflict, leading to a misrepresentation of the holy struggle of jihad.

These partisans, who have fragmented themselves and offer little to benefit the nation, are fueled by animosity and jealousy. Whenever the opportunity presents itself, they launch attacks on the Islamic legitimate system, both directly and indirectly.

2. The Protocolists

This category of people had established relations with Westerners before the fall of the previous Islamic Emirate, then surrendered to the invaders or were those who were released after being prisoners of the invaders as a result of a protocol agreement, and lived under the shadow of the previous corrupt system.

The Protocolists have formally renounced jihad and resistance against the invaders and their corrupt system in written statements.

They have vowed not to engage in any form of resistance against the invaders or their corrupt system. Their repentance from a fundamental duty in Islam has been driven by their desire for personal comfort. As a result, they perceive the legitimate decisions made by the current ruling system as reflective of their personal desires and gauge them against their own standards.

These individuals are not to be condemned, as their understanding of Islam and the legitimate system is superficial. These individuals are not to be condemned, as their understanding of Islam and the legitimate system is superficial. Having spent significant amounts of time with Westerners, they now serve as advisors to them. It is inevitable that those who adopt such roles will view Islamic legitimate decisions through this lens.

3. The Applauders

The applauders are individuals who lack a fixed thought or stable position. They tend to follow their emotions and desires, residing in a state of scientific ignorance. They consistently express approval towards others, particularly those afflicted by intellectual deviation, nationalism, factionalism, and allegiance to the West.

If we examine the biography of the Prophet, peace be upon him, we encounter instances involving these three groups. Thus, genuine Muslims and mujahideen need not concern themselves with their propaganda. Their propaganda will not pose a threat to the established Islamic lawful system, but rather only inflict harm upon themselves.

Allah almighty says in the Holy Quran:

﴿يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ﴾
[ الصف: 8]
Translation:

“They seek to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.” (Quran, As-Saff: 8)

This noble verse, although it was revealed regarding the disbelievers, can be applicable to anyone who professes Islam but is intellectually swayed by the disbelievers and endeavors to critique the Islamic lawful system due to such influence. Despite their efforts, they will be unable to extinguish the light of the Islamic lawful system through the dissemination of their propaganda. This light will undeniably continue to spread and attain its intended purpose.

The end.
