Part 12

As previously mentioned, the current situation in the region is another factor contributing to Pakistan’s decline. If the military generals support Saudi Arabia, it will bring them losses, and if they do not support it, it will also result in losses.
Similarly, another factor in the present regional situation that could contribute to Pakistan’s downfall is the military generals’ confrontation with Afghanistan.
History bears witness that Afghans have never lost a war, and Pakistani generals have never won one.
It was the people of Afghanistan who reduced the vast British Empire to a small Britain. Likewise, they turned the Soviet Union into Russia. Allah has placed a unique quality in the Afghan sword: any enemy it defeats ultimately ends up being fragmented as well.
Pakistani generals, who have always viewed war as a kind of project, have also taken a superficial view of conflict with the Afghans. They have never studied the spiritual and moral dimension of fighting the Afghan people. To this day, they do not realize that defeat at the hands of Afghans often means fragmentation.
Pakistan is already standing on the brink of internal division, and if it becomes entangled in a conflict with a nation that has a historical reputation for breaking its enemies apart, then Pakistan’s disintegration may only be a matter of time.
This time, the Pakistani generals seem to have woken up in the morning as if intoxicated and disoriented. In the past, whenever the brutality of Pakistani generals against their own people reached its peak, they would stage a few symbolic shots toward India and then calm their nation in the name of Islam and jihad, calling for unity.
But this time the Pakistani generals appear to have lost their direction, because they themselves now realize that their war goes against Islam, Sharia, and international laws, and they cannot find any legitimate religious or legal justification for it.
Rather, this very war provides a basis for Islamist youth in Pakistan to consider jihad against them as an obligation. In this conflict, they openly targeted the symbols of Islam. They destroyed madrasas, burned the pages of the Holy Qur’an, and killed innocent women and children. Through these actions, they have effectively reinforced the claim of Islamist youth that Pakistani military generals are enemies of the Qur’an and Islamic symbols.
This may be the first war in the history of Pakistani generals that has no popular support at all; rather, the entire population has turned against them. The reason is that the Holy Qur’an is one and the same throughout the world. In the Qur’an, there are no distinctions such as Afghan, Pakistani, or any other nationality.
Wherever someone stands against the Qur’an or shows disrespect toward it, Muslim youth across the world rise to defend it without exception. When it comes to the desecration of the Qur’an, Muslim youth do not look at nationality, borders, or ethnicity; instead, they think only about defending it and seeking justice.
On the very first night of the war with Afghanistan, Pakistani military generals also assumed hostility toward the Holy Qur’an and the symbols of Islam, a hostility that may cost them a very high price. It is possible that within the Pakistani army, at the lower ranks, there are Muslim youths who, in the name of avenging the Qur’an, may one day turn their weapons against their own generals.
History shows that those who have begun hostility toward the Holy Qur’an have never seen good days afterward; instead, they have faced humiliation, disgrace, and shame.
Through this article, I am sending a message to the Pakistani military, specifically to those lower-ranking youths who hold Islamic faith and are Muslims:
O youth! Allah has given you strong arms and a weapon in your hand. If you do not take revenge for the Holy Quran now, then when will you? Is there anything in life more important than the Holy Quran?
If a Muslim gives more importance even to their parents than to the Quran, their faith comes into question, let alone giving importance to a military general.
Today, Allah has given you an excellent opportunity to take revenge for the Holy Quran. That military general, who has bombed the Word of Allah, martyred the Madrasas, and martyred innocent Muslim women and children, is standing right beside you.
Yes, O youth! While Allah has granted you this opportunity on one hand, He has also placed you in a great trial on the other.
If you empty the magazine of your rifle into this military general, you will certainly have passed Allah’s test and seized the opportunity. But if you stand silent and support him, you are surely complicit in the enmity against the Holy Quran, and eternal humiliation will be your fate.
