Afghanistan is not a land that can be subdued by airstrikes or border violations. This land has been built on the blood of martyrs and the honor of people who have never bowed before oppression. Today, Pakistan, through its continuous attacks on Afghan soil, has not only trampled the sovereignty of its neighbor but has also crossed a red line that brings humiliation to every invader. These violations are no longer a mere issue at the border; they are a declaration of war against the history, honor, and faith of a people who, for centuries, have inscribed their names among the conquerors of the world.
Pakistani aircraft have recklessly flown over the skies of Nangarhar and Paktia, dropping their bombs on villages, schools, and the homes of ordinary people. These actions can no longer be considered legitimate defense. They are the schemes of an ignorant neighbor who believes that with a few bombs, he can bury the honor of an entire nation under the dust.
But the greatest mistake lies here: Afghanistan is the graveyard of invaders, not their playground! The British, with all their colonial pride, were humiliated by this land; the former Soviet Union, with all its power, was melted in these mountains; and the United States, despite all its advanced equipment, was forced to retreat from this land. Now it is the turn of that neighbor, who thinks he can enter this land with his military boots and leave unharmed. But this is nothing more than an illusion and a fantasy.
The people of Afghanistan are patient and resilient. They have endured years of suffering, witnessed wars, and lost their loved ones; yet they have stood firm. But this patience has its limits. It is like a fire smoldering under ashes, quiet as long as no one disturbs it. Yet when the wind blows and stirs the embers, the fire grows so intense that every invader will be trapped in its blaze. If Pakistan believes these attacks will go unanswered, it is gravely mistaken. Every bomb dropped on Afghan children and women is an arrow to the proud heart of this nation, and one day, that arrow will be loosed from the bow of vengeance.
Pakistan must understand that testing the patience of the Afghans is like playing with a lion’s tail. If the Pakistani regime does not know history, it should ask its elders what happened to previous invaders of this land. Alexander the Great came and was defeated; Genghis Khan came and was destroyed; the British came and fled; the Soviet Union came and was humiliated; and America came and withdrew in shame. Now Pakistan, with its limited power, thinks it can follow the same path? Let it try, but it must understand that the end of this path leads only to a grave.
From the perspective of international law, this aggression is clearly condemnable and cannot be justified. Pakistan’s claim of self-defense is nothing more than an excuse. What international law permits an attack on a neighboring country and the killing of women and children under the pretext of opposing certain groups? This is neither self-defense nor legitimate; it is a complete war crime, and its perpetrators must be held accountable in international courts.
But the people of Afghanistan have heard these claims many times before. International law has often been nothing more than a piece of paper for those who wield military power. For this reason, instead of relying on these papers, Afghanistan relies on its own honor and faith.
Pakistan must understand that Afghanistan’s future response will no longer be purely diplomatic. If this aggression continues and the faithful patience of the Afghan people is further tested, an uprising will emerge that will not only respond to the aggressor on Afghan soil but also strike within the aggressor’s own home. The Pakistani regime must not test the faith of these people any further. If their patience runs out, one day they will rise with full strength and complete faith against the invaders and pursue them deep into their own land. This is not a statement born of short-term emotions; it is a promise of history.
The history of Afghanistan has proven multiple times that when its people rise, no force has been able to stand against them.
So, O invading neighbor! You still have time to cease your aggression. You can still preserve your honor and dignity. But if you continue to test the patience of the Afghan people, know that this will be the last time. After that, a storm will rise that will erase your name from the pages of history. Afghanistan is the homeland of those brave men who stood against Soviet tanks with old rifles, and they prevailed.
Afghanistan is the land of the brothers of those who, with empty hands, resisted American drones and brought them to their knees. Today, Afghanistan is stronger than ever, more united than ever, and more determined than ever. So take heed of the end of these people’s patience, and do not test it any further.
وَاللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ.
