A shining example of faith, sincerity, and courage. A symbol of steadfastness and tireless struggle. A true follower of the path of truth and a mujahid with unwavering trust in Allah.

Martyr Allahdad, known as “Qassab” and widely called Din Dost, was the son of Haji Elmurad. He was born in 1364 S.H in the village of Bato, in Darzab district of Jowzjan province. He was born into a religious and devoted family, one that valued faith and struggle.

Intellectual Awakening and Turning to Jihad:

In his beloved homeland, like many other citizens, peace and tranquility were lost under the oppression and violence of the occupiers and their local allies. In that tight and suffocating atmosphere, Allahdad found no rest. His firm faith and awakened conscience would not allow him to stay silent in the face of such injustice.

It was this deep sense of responsibility that joined him to the noble cause of jihad. In 1392 S.H, he became part of the ranks of the mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA).

Personality and Achievements on the Jihad Front:

Martyr Din Dost was not an ordinary soldier. He was a leader, an example, and a sincere, loyal, and trustworthy companion to his peers. For many years, with dedication, courage, and steadfastness, he stood in the ranks of the mujahideen of the IEA like an unbreakable pillar.

He was a gentle, pious, and well-mannered mujahid. He held a special place in the hearts of the people because he truly loved to serve them, his faith, and the Islamic land. His simple life, humility, and constant smile made his presence even brighter and more endearing.

In liberating enemy positions, especially during the battles of Qoshtapa, his unmatched bravery became the talk of everyone. He even recaptured positions from the enemies using simple wooden tools. This was a clear proof of his high spirit, strong faith, and deep trust in Allah.

The Story of Martyrdom and Historical Significance:

Martyr Allahdad Qassab, also known as Din Dost, always carried the wish for martyrdom in his heart. Allah, the Lord of all, fulfilled this wish. After a life of struggles, hardships, hunger, and challenges, he reached the honored rank of martyrdom in 1393 S.H, in the Chakana region.
نحسبه کذالک والله حسیبه

It was at that time that the battle began in the Chakana and Aqsay areas of Darzab district, carried out by the Daesh extremists. This was the first appearance and the first battle of Daesh in the history of the district. In this noble confrontation, the first martyr was Allahdad Qassab. His pure blood was shed by the hands of some of the most cruel enemies of humanity, yet his martyrdom marked the beginning of the defeat of falsehood.

Everlasting Memory:

Martyr Allahdad Qassab sacrificed himself in the path of Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) so that the banner of “La ilaha illallah” would remain raised and proud over this land. He gave his life so that consciences would stay awake and the spirit of life would endure. He offered himself so that Islam could be honored.

His martyrdom was a heavy wound for pure hearts, yet by Allah’s will, his mission did not end. The continued struggle of his comrades further punished the killers and criminals.

The people of Darzab will always keep the memory and name of Martyr Din Dost alive. His legacy will remain recorded in the history of jihad in this land and will serve as a source of inspiration for future generations.
