Two ISIS-K Commanders Killed in Pakistan

Security sources told Al-Mirsaad that a senior Pakistani ISIS-K commander was killed in Balochistan alongside a Tajik associate.

According to sources, the slain commander, Asim Baloch, hailed from Mastung district in Balochistan. He had been displaced following attacks on ISIS hideouts in Mastung. Recently, unidentified gunmen in Khuzdar killed him along with his foreign associate.

Sources said the Tajik national killed with Asim had only recently joined ISIS ranks and had been living with him. ISIS-K has used Tajik nationals to carry out attacks inside Afghanistan.

This follows reports of the assassination of another ISIS-K commander, Hassan, in Karachi. Originally from Peshawar, he had trained fighters and facilitated attacks on Afghan soil.
