Once again, the skies of Afghanistan have witnessed a crime that wounds the conscience of every free human being. The airstrikes carried out last night by Pakistani forces on civilian areas in Kunar, Khost, and Paktika were not only a blatant violation of Afghanistan’s national sovereignty, but also an unforgivable crime against the helpless and defenseless civilians of this land.
In this attack, children were martyred who had not yet tasted the joys of life. Mothers were left sitting on the carpet of grief, mothers whose only hope for their children was peace and security. Families were plunged into mourning for loved ones who had played no role in any political or military conflict. This bitter reality once again showed that the real victims of the Pakistani regime’s aggressive policies are always innocent civilians.
The Pakistani military regime has now sunk so deep into crimes that it seems to have graduated from the Zionist regime’s school of bloodshed. The same regime that targets children in their mothers’ arms in Gaza and Palestine, destroys hospitals, and levels schools to the ground has now found its eastern reflection in the form of Pakistan, repeating similar crimes in Afghanistan.
Is there really any difference between the bombing of the Omid Drug Rehabilitation Hospital in Kabul and the bombing of Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza? What difference is there between the killing of Afghan children in Kunar and the killing of Palestinian children in Khan Yunis?
There is no difference, except that one criminal openly declares its hostility while the other hides behind the mask of a “Muslim neighbor.” It is this hypocrisy and duplicity that make the crimes of the Pakistani regime even more disgraceful and shameful.
No human, Islamic, or legal principle can justify the bombing of civilian homes. If the claim is that these attacks are aimed at addressing security threats, then why are children and women being targeted? Why are people’s homes being destroyed? The answer is clear. Such attacks are less about security and more about exerting pressure and displaying power against a population that has spent decades suffering from wars and foreign interference.
The Zionist regime uses exactly the same language against the Palestinians: “targeting command centers,” “striking hidden military facilities inside hospitals,” and countless other lies.
But the world saw who died under the rubble of Gaza. Children, women, the elderly, and innocent patients. Pakistan now drops its bombs on the heads of Afghan women and children and then claims it hit “terrorist centers.” A lie as large as the crime itself.
Over the past decades, Pakistan’s military regime has repeatedly shown that instead of dialogue and constructive engagement, it prefers pressure, threats, and interference. But history has proven that the Afghan people have never bowed to threats and have never abandoned their values and goals under force. Afghanistan is the country whose sons have stood against the greatest powers on earth. A people who endured occupation, wars, displacement, and thousands of other calamities will never allow their dignity, independence, and national sovereignty to be sacrificed for the demands of others.
Just as the oppressed people of Palestine remain steadfast despite all their suffering, the people of Afghanistan will never lower their heads before coercion and oppression.
What happened in Kunar, Khost, and Paktika was not merely a military attack. It was an attack on humanity, good neighborly relations, and our shared Islamic values.
At a time when the Islamic Ummah needs unity and solidarity more than ever, such hostile actions serve only to deepen mistrust and expand violence across the region.
Through these crimes, the Pakistani regime not only provokes the anger of the Afghan nation but also places itself among the enemies of Islam and the Muslim people. The same Zionist regime before whose crimes against the Palestinians it remains silent has now become a model for Pakistan.
Is there any greater disgrace for a country that claims to represent Islam?
The international community, human rights organizations, and all awakened consciences must take a clear stand against this crime. Remaining silent in the face of Afghan children’s blood is not neutrality; it is turning a blind eye to open injustice and criminality.
Just as silence in the face of Zionist crimes in Gaza became a stain of shame upon the forehead of humanity, silence in the face of the Pakistani regime’s crimes in Afghanistan will likewise become a mark of disgrace upon those who claim to defend human rights.
The pure blood of those martyred in this attack will never be forgotten. Their blood is a living witness to the suffering of the Afghan nation and clear evidence of the policies of a regime that has chosen aggression and coercion over good neighborliness and mutual respect.
The people of Afghanistan will once again prove that although their sons are sacrificed, their resolve remains unbroken; although their homes are destroyed, their determination to defend independence and national dignity only grows stronger.
And the Pakistani regime should know that these crimes will not go unanswered. For Allah Almighty says:
«وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ»
“Do not think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do.”
