Daeshi Khawarij: The West’s New Weapon Against Islam | Part 31: The Final Part

Part 31: The Final Part

By Ehsan Arab

The ISIS-Khawarij have committed countless acts in defiance of Islamic law while serving the enemies of Islam. Their crimes are so numerous that no single volume could contain them, let alone a brief series of articles. What we have presented throughout this series, “Daeshi Khawarij: The West’s New Weapon Against Islam,” offers only a small glimpse into the vast disservice they have rendered to the faith and the Ummah.

The painful lesson drawn from the rise of the ISIS-Khawarij is that whenever the Muslim Ummah distances itself from knowledge, from its scholars, from sacred institutions, and from the bonds of unity, it leaves a void easily filled by the enemies of Islam. Into that space creep distorted ideologies and destructive agendas that exploit division and ignorance to weaken the community from within.

Few moments in modern history can compare to the devastation this misguided faction has unleashed upon Islam. In the name of the faith itself, under the banner of Tawhid (monotheism) and the pretext of establishing a Caliphate and enforcing Sharia, they struck at the very heart of the Ummah. The wounds they left behind still burn across many Islamic lands.

Their legacy is one of betrayal and ruin. They sowed discord among Muslims, turned their weapons against other jihadi movements, and defamed the name of Islam. They assassinated revered scholars, destroyed Islamic cities, displaced innocent families, and spilled the blood of believers.

They murdered commanders of jihad, branded scholars as unbelievers, and tarnished the reputation of Islamic governments. They cleared the path for the occupation and division of Muslim countries, tied them to foreign dependence, and plundered the natural wealth of Islamic regions. They undermined the integrity of religious centers, justified the crimes of occupiers, strengthened anti-Islamic coalitions, shattered confidence in the Caliphate ideal, and bolstered intelligence and surveillance networks against Muslims. These are but fragments of their shameful record.

Every step they took stood in direct opposition to Islam and its noble teachings. Their actions consistently served the goals of their Western patrons. Despite their hollow rhetoric and deceptive slogans, they brought neither benefit to Islam nor relief to the Muslims they claimed to represent.

Today, the fitna of the Khawarij has largely subsided within the Muslim world. Their false masks have fallen, and their true nature has been exposed. Yet our duty remains: to continue uncovering the roots of this malignant ideology and to warn future generations of the dangers it still poses.

Though the ISIS-Khawarij have been defeated, the scars of their treachery remain visible. The ruins of once-thriving cities and the distortion of the sacred concept of jihad bear witness to their legacy of destruction. It is a wound that can only be healed through the awakening and unity of the Ummah.

What endures, however, is the steadfast faith of the Muslim community and the awareness of its new generation. No longer will they be misled by false slogans or hollow calls. Today, the Islamic Ummah stands alert and determined, resolved never again to let its enemies strike at the heart of Islam under the guise of religion.
