Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 31 suspects were captured in the “Bozdoğan-46” operations against ISIS during the Eid holiday.
In a statement released on X, Minister Yerlikaya elaborated that the Provincial Security Directorates carried out operations in six provinces: Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Istanbul, Mersin, and Ordu.
The operations, known as “Bozdoğan-46,” were part of a coordinated initiative to dismantle ISIS networks within Türkiye.
Turkey serves as a primary hub for the transfer of ISIS fighters and funds, allowing individuals to travel to the Middle East, as well as to the West and other Asian countries, through this nation.
