“End of ISIS Influence in Afghanistan”

It is evident that the ISIS group in Afghanistan was a byproduct of the previous regime and operated under the direction of specific entities, executing defined strategies. Even subsequent to the establishment of the Islamic Emirate’s governance over the nation, this group endeavored to spread its malevolent influence and accomplish its nefarious objectives within Afghanistan.

Nevertheless, Afghan security forces, through vigilance, effective administration, and meticulous planning, dismantled the group comprehensively and neutralized its key leaders. Under escalating pressure, the remaining members and leadership were relocated to neighbouring countries within the region.

Despite this, those individuals trained for targeted assaults are now in their concluding phases; they are prohibited from engaging in targeted attacks or advancing their malevolent agendas within the nation.

The recent coordinated operations by special security forces on ISKP hideouts in Kabul, Ghor, and Kunar showcase the prompt response and unwavering commitment of the security and intelligence forces to eradicate this subversive group from the nation.

As a result of these operations, five IS-K militants were neutralized and several others were captured alive. These militants, who endeavoured to destabilize the nation at the behest of foreign powers, have been incapacitated or detained.

Certain countries that dispatch foreign ISIS combatants to Afghanistan post-training harbor distinct motives: they seek to depict Afghanistan as a sanctuary for foreign militant entities such as ISIS.

This occurs despite the fact that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), in the past year, has eliminated numerous foreign Daesh operatives during operations and prevents the consolidation of the perception of Afghanistan as a sanctuary for ISIS, despite the endeavors of certain countries actively engaged in fabricating and reinforcing this narrative.

The security and intelligence forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) are diligently laboring to eradicate this blemish—ISIS insurgents—from the essence of Islam. They will not permit a minority of foreign-trained insurgents to incite armed insurrection against the Islamic system in Afghanistan or steer it towards obscurity.
